Hello wonderful members of WCO!

Due to a recent influx in guideline violations, we wanted to issue a gentle reminder of the following site rules:

1. Chatbox and Discord Usernames
With the addition of the chatbox on the site, your chatbox username (and discord username, if apart of the official discord server) must match your onsite username. There can be nicknames, however your full WCO username must be visible somewhere in the name. This is to ensure that members and staff know who they are addressing at all times and to prevent any confusion down the line.

2. Advertising
Advertising, or the reposting of a link solely to a thread, finder, shop, etc. to gain traction or attention, is not allowed anywhere outside of the Advertising Thread (https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92), which is located in our General Board. We ask that you refrain from advertising anywhere else on site, including by not limited to the chatbox, official discord, members profiles, and other members' finders.

3. Content Theft
We have recently updated our stance on art and content theft, and strongly advise you to read it over here (https://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50572). Any art that was not made by or for you, or is explicitly stated as free to use by the original artist, should not be used. In these cases where it does fall under one of the above categories, the appropriate credit should be used wherever the image is being used to ensure proper compliance with our art and content regulations.

4. Multi-Accounting
Per our Community Guidelines, "Members having multiple or sharing accounts is heavily frowned upon and could result in termination from Warrior Cats Online. Please inform a staff member if someone within your household would like to join to prevent confusion and/or potential punishment. In the message, include your relation to this person." We want to remind everyone that having multiple accounts is prohibited on WCO and may result in account infractions, suspension, or in some cases termination.

We want to make sure that WCO remains a fun and safe community for everyone involved, and this includes abiding by all of the Community and Roleplay Guidelines. From the bottom of our heart, we deeply appreciate each and every one of you as members of this site!

If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out by submitting a Support Ticket.

Thank you, and have a great rest of your night! :heartbounce:

Hello! I’d like to ask a quick question about the Advertising policy. On the official Discord, finders are often posted in the roleplay-finder chat, and staff have said that bumping there follows the same policy as on-site bumping. Are we now not allowed to post finders in Discord? :heartbounce:

Finders placed in the roleplay-finder channel of the Discord are absolutely a-okay! The reminder here pertains to linking them anywhere outside of that channel, such as general chat or visual arts.

I have a question, is my sig okay? It has off-link sites but it has a spoiler.
