A deadly virus has swept though the earth, leaving only children and vampires behind. The virus only effected adults that were at least 18 years of age thus almost ending humanity to only ten percent. And vampires used this chance to capture the children and make them their livestock. But little did the vampires know that a handful of humans still live and they are not backing down without a fight, they have began to tame demons and used them as weapons against the vampires since weak weapons have no effect on them.
But vampires are much more stronger with they're immortal blood and higher strength and speed in battle at least the royals are but this does not stop the humans from fighting back but who is really good? And who is really bad? Vampires have taken humans underground to safety underground and in return blood. And humans are fighting back to reclaim what's theirs. But who is bad? And who is good? And why are vampires trying to stop this seraph of the end a thing the humans made from experimenting humans. Why not jump in and find out?

Weapons humans use:
Cursed gear: Cursed gear is created by directly calling on demons and sealing them directly into sacred items using a demon curse (鬼呪,, Kiju?) so that they could serve the wielder.
The items used to seal demons are almost exclusively weapons: swords, axes, and even bows.
The weapons need to be consecrated and purified - a process that takes years before a demon can be trapped inside.
These weapons are so powerful that they revolutionized the world and forced traditional magics to fall into disuse. It can increase a normal person's standard ability by seven fold. The top rank of cursed gear is the Black Demon Series, and anyone bearing one of them is capable of killing multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons. With lesser cursed gear series, the bearer can have an even one-on-one match against a vampire armed with a second-class weapon.
Types of cursed gear:
Manifestation: This type of cursed gear has the convenient ability to remain in a smaller, more portable size or manifest into the full-sized weapon at will. These weapons may have the power to cast blessings or curses. blessings give strength and heal while curses cause injuries using explosives or any other elemental attack.
Possession: This type of cursed gear cannot change into a portable size or manifest as the demon's malice is too strong and is ferocious and refuses to submit so easily.
They are more well-balanced for offense and defense than manifestation-types because activating the demons particular capabilities does not leave the host vulnerable. The demons increase the physical strength and power of their user. They are typically limited to close-range combat for melee fighting.
Black demons: The strongest cursed gear because they contain first-rank demons. There are very few people capable of wielding a Black Demon weapon, and anyone capable of doing so has been experimented on previously. Anyone bearing this rank of weapon can easily kill multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.
The death rate of those who challenge Black Demons is exceedingly high compared to other Demon Weapons. Only those with strong willpower and resolution are able to challenge them.
The users must undergo operations to significantly alter their minds and bodies. The must also understand the demon's curse, have a strong ability to control magic, and have the right disposition for controlling a demon. ( only 10 people can have this not including the general of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army )
Other demons: you can make up your own since it doesn't say much about the other demons but they are strong and fast but not as strong as the black demons but are very strong in the right hands.
Other weapons:
Enchanted weapons: is a much weaker form of cursed gear, usually a yaksha- or myo-o- class weapon. These can increase a regular human's strength by three to four times. Seven humans with these weapons should be able to kill one unarmed vampire, but an entire unit of them would have a difficult time against even one vampire with a second-class weapon.

Weapons vampires use: First-class weapons pierce a vampire's hand and drink vampire blood in order to significantly increase their power. Their nature is unknown, but they have existed prior to the 1300s.

Second-class weapons are used by common vampires, and are not as powerful as first-class weapons.
The weapons enhance their own physical abilities as well.

Gear: Vampires most commonly wear armbands on their left arms to protect themselves from UV light. They may also wear rings. This allows them to move under sunlight without harm, although they still dislike it.

Strengths: Vampires have impressive power and regenerative abilities; this increases with their lineage and age. They can easily reattach a limb. It is also possible to reattach a vampire's head, although the vampire in question will need someone to bring the two ends of the neck together. Nobles have the authority to turn a human into a vampire if they so choose. Vampires may increase their abilities by drinking human blood at any time.
Their senses are extremely powerful, and their eyesight allows them to distinguish a target several hundred meters away, even in pitch-black darkness. However, they no longer perceive anything as beautiful.

Weaknesses: They have immense pride and typically underestimate their human opponents or may refuse to work together with vampires of rival factions.
Sunlight Exposure to UV light will create a toxin in their bodies, and vampires must wear protective gear to neutralise this effect. Otherwise, they will burst into flame. Even with the protective gear, they disdain the sunlight, but they can tolerate it.
Daytime. Without protective gear, vampires are too tired to function during the day time
They can be killed if their heads are destroyed. One bullet will not do the job.
Cursed gear and enchanted gear used by the Japanese Imperial Demon Army limit their healing capabilities
Removing their heart will weaken them and begin to turn them into a demon.

"Should we step it up a notch to impress them?" Rubin asked with his trademark smirk.
"I think we should." The said in unison, and their moves began to quicken, drawing out their daggers as well.

Of course he always asks the queen for some of course for a favor as usual since he was the pet. But he paid no mind all he wants to do is find his lost family member and get him away from those humans. After all they started this mess.

These weapons may have the power to cast blessings or curses. blessings give strength and heal while curses cause injuries using explosives or any other elemental attack.
Possession: This type of cursed gear cannot change into a portable size or manifest as the demon's malice is too strong and is ferocious and refuses to submit so easily.
They are more well-balanced for offense and defense than manifestation-types because activating the demons particular capabilities does not leave the host vulnerable. The demons increase the physical strength and power of their user. They are typically limited to close-range combat for melee fighting.
Black demons: The strongest cursed gear because they contain first-rank demons. There are very few people capable of wielding a Black Demon weapon, and anyone capable of doing so has been experimented on previously. Anyone bearing this rank of weapon can easily kill multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.
The death rate of those who challenge Black Demons is exceedingly high compared to other Demon Weapons. Only those with strong willpower and resolution are able to challenge them.
The users must undergo operations to significantly alter their minds and bodies. The must also understand the demon's curse, have a strong ability to control magic, and have the right disposition for controlling a demon. ( only 10 people can have this not including the general of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army )
Other demons: you can make up your own since it doesn't say much about the other demons but they are strong and fast but not as strong as the black demons but are very strong in the right hands.
Other weapons:
Enchanted weapons: is a much weaker form of cursed gear, usually a yaksha- or myo-o- class weapon. These can increase a regular human's strength by three to four times. Seven humans with these weapons should be able to kill one unarmed vampire, but an entire unit of them would have a difficult time against even one vampire with a second-class weapon.

Weapons vampires use: First-class weapons pierce a vampire's hand and drink vampire blood in order to significantly increase their power. Their nature is unknown, but they have existed prior to the 1300s.

Second-class weapons are used by common vampires, and are not as powerful as first-class weapons.
The weapons enhance their own physical abilities as well.

Gear: Vampires most commonly wear armbands on their left arms to protect themselves from UV light. They may also wear rings. This allows them to move under sunlight without harm, although they still dislike it.

Strengths: Vampires have impressive power and regenerative abilities; this increases with their lineage and age. They can easily reattach a limb. It is also possible to reattach a vampire's head, although the vampire in question will need someone to bring the two ends of the neck together. Nobles have the authority to turn a human into a vampire if they so choose. Vampires may increase their abilities by drinking human blood at any time.
Their senses are extremely powerful, and their eyesight allows them to distinguish a target several hundred meters away, even in pitch-black darkness. However, they no longer perceive anything as beautiful.

Weaknesses: They have immense pride and typically underestimate their human opponents or may refuse to work together with vampires of rival factions.
Sunlight Exposure to UV light will create a toxin in their bodies, and vampires must wear protective gear to neutralise this effect. Otherwise, they will burst into flame. Even with the protective gear, they disdain the sunlight, but they can tolerate it.
Daytime. Without protective gear, vampires are too tired to function during the day time
They can be killed if their heads are destroyed. One bullet will not do the job.
Cursed gear and enchanted gear used by the Japanese Imperial Demon Army limit their healing capabilities
Removing their heart will weaken them and begin to turn them into a demon.

Yet he was incomplete and he never wants to be complete so he always denies the blood of humans and only drinks the queens blood when he really needs to and always has tubes of her blood in a pocket by his sword. Of course he always asks the queen for some of course for a favor as usual since he was the pet. But he paid no mind all he wants to do is find his lost family member and get him away from those humans. After all they started this mess.

Rei stalked down the hall and leaned on the great doorway, listening to their conversation with arms crossed. The unruly royal didn't have much of a care for rules or feelings. She roamed wherever she pleased. The incomplete vampire kept silent, curious what she could do with this kind of information on the queen of all people.

"You're all so... hopelessly helpless," she carelessly sighed, observing the trapped bait most referred to as humans. By the way- how do you just let these guys trap you down here? They act like they're doing you a favor." Rei let out a soft giggle.

Shard audibly gasped at the blatant disrespect this vampire openly showed to her queen. He may have been in such a low position, but he understood enough to know that this was akin to sacrilege in their eyes. It shouldn't have bothered him, and it wouldn't have if the other vampire hadn't come in. He was almost glad he arrived, however. He possibly could've avoided an unwanted feeding... He was used to them by now, though they were anything but pleasant.

"The last thing I would want is to be complete," Rei scoffed, clearly disgusted, "You've never thought about it, have you? You're too loyal of a servant, I see... If we all wanted to, we could overthrow that mockery of a queen like that." She snapped as she said that, small bits of blood spattering from her fingers. "If it's that important to you, what would you do if I, say, wasted your livestock? What if I killed all of these humans and disposed of them so their blood could never babe consumed?" Rei daringly queried, reaching her fingers through Shard's cell. Her nail barely grazed his chin, a small streak of blood from her stained fingers on his face.

Sasuke eyes glowed dangerously " shut up! You know nothing girl nor do you know who you are dealing with. The only reason I'm here and loyal as I am is because unlike you I know when I'm bested " he grabs her hand roughly pulling it away from shard " you are already committing treason with that talk of yours should you be punished or will you stand down?" He says coldly his eyes filled with anger.

Shard quickly shut his eyes, whimpering softly at the feeling of the female vampire's nail on his skin. He didn't want to believe what she was saying... Despite being at death's door for so long, he wasn't ready to die. He felt her hand being pulled away, sighing softly with relief. He opened his eyes once more, looking up at the two as if waiting for them to make their next move. He hoped he wasn't the "punching bag" in this situation.

"Vampires like you make me sick," Rei spat as she was dragged along, "You should know I was bluffing. I don't have a key to the cells- I don't even know where any of them are!" Her voice echoed down the corridor of captive humans. Rei felt for her dagger with her free hand, yet she felt nothing strapped to her waist. I left it by that cell when I was threatening to kill them all! It must be wedged between the bars since I couldn't push it any further... what a fool!

His eyes glowed dangerously " then leave" he says as he roughly pushes towards the exit " oh yeah -" he holds up her dagger " you forgot this" he says tossing it to her " now make yourself useful and go outside and I don't know observe the humans " he says coldly as he looks at shard " I don't know why you're here you all are supposed to be outside in the livestock city " he looks at him closely " .... do any other vampire hurt you or did they bring you here?"

Watching both of the vampires leave, one being dragged along by the other, Shard felt safe at this point. As safe as he could be in this situation, anyway. He sat back, slouching over slightly until the male vampire came back in. He straightened up slightly, eyes widened in surprise. He glanced around as the vampire talked, to see if he was talking to anybody else. It didn't seem so... He looked back at him, narrowing his eyes in confusion.

There goes my excuse to come back in... Rei was experiencing a massive amount of disdain for the world as she walked into the throne room and outside to the apocalyptic landscape she had grown all too familiar with. Sitting on the large set of steps outside the palace, Rei began thinking of another method of fulfillment.

Shard's face scrunched up in a peculiar fashion. What was going on? He didn't understand what this vampire was talking about. He didn't remember having family, let alone knowing where they could be. Why was a vampire offering to take him out, anyway? This didn't make any sense, though he did hesitantly accept the offer in his own way, stepping out of the cell and glancing at the vampire in curiosity. He shook his head. Shard had long lost his appetite after the female vampire's arrival and threats.

He was staring, though wasn't afraid of being caught doing so. He was communicating, in his own little wordless way. Talking was the real unusual action for him.

"Paradise, isn't it?" Rei sarcastically commented, joining in the tour, "Honestly, it's better in there than it is out here." The royal looked at her nails intently. "It's nothing personal about the killing all captives thing," she reassured Shard, not looking up, "I've done a lot of things but that would just be... unwise."

The sooner I get this done, the better. Kasumi silently moved around the ground, headed toward a small livestock farm. Hopefully I can help them escape without many casulties... Quietly, she moved into her position, readying her shuriken. Bombs, venom, and lightning, check. Let's do this. She readied her aim towards the area that would do the most damage... and fired multiple bomb shuriken, blowing lots of holes in the wall.

Maybe that was just his way of reassuring him. Shard took it, as it was all he had at the moment. He nodded, letting a small smile tug at his lips. At least he was trying to appeal to the smaller, human male. He stayed close for the time being, jumping slightly at the sudden reappearance of the female vampire from before. He 'humph'ed softly at her apology. He decided not to take her actions to heart, though. It would do no good. He nodded in understanding, keeping his pace up to keep up with Sasuke.

A deadly virus has swept though the earth, leaving only children and vampires behind. The virus only effected adults that were at least 18 years of age thus almost ending humanity to only ten percent. And vampires used this chance to capture the children and make them their livestock. But little did the vampires know that a handful of humans still live and they are not backing down without a fight, they have began to tame demons and used them as weapons against the vampires since weak weapons have no effect on them.
But vampires are much more stronger with they're immortal blood and higher strength and speed in battle at least the royals are but this does not stop the humans from fighting back but who is really good? And who is really bad? Vampires have taken humans underground to safety underground and in return blood. And humans are fighting back to reclaim what's theirs. But who is bad? And who is good? And why are vampires trying to stop this seraph of the end a thing the humans made from experimenting humans. Why not jump in and find out?

Weapons humans use:
Cursed gear: Cursed gear is created by directly calling on demons and sealing them directly into sacred items using a demon curse (鬼呪,, Kiju?) so that they could serve the wielder.
The items used to seal demons are almost exclusively weapons: swords, axes, and even bows.
The weapons need to be consecrated and purified - a process that takes years before a demon can be trapped inside.
These weapons are so powerful that they revolutionized the world and forced traditional magics to fall into disuse. It can increase a normal person's standard ability by seven fold. The top rank of cursed gear is the Black Demon Series, and anyone bearing one of them is capable of killing multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons. With lesser cursed gear series, the bearer can have an even one-on-one match against a vampire armed with a second-class weapon.

Possession: This type of cursed gear cannot change into a portable size or manifest as the demon's malice is too strong and is ferocious and refuses to submit so easily.
They are more well-balanced for offense and defense than manifestation-types because activating the demons particular capabilities does not leave the host vulnerable. The demons increase the physical strength and power of their user. They are typically limited to close-range combat for melee fighting.
Black demons: The strongest cursed gear because they contain first-rank demons. There are very few people capable of wielding a Black Demon weapon, and anyone capable of doing so has been experimented on previously. Anyone bearing this rank of weapon can easily kill multiple vampires armed with second-class weapons.
The death rate of those who challenge Black Demons is exceedingly high compared to other Demon Weapons. Only those with strong willpower and resolution are able to challenge them.
The users must undergo operations to significantly alter their minds and bodies. The must also understand the demon's curse, have a strong ability to control magic, and have the right disposition for controlling a demon. ( only 10 people can have this not including the general of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army )
Other demons: you can make up your own since it doesn't say much about the other demons but they are strong and fast but not as strong as the black demons but are very strong in the right hands.
Other weapons:
Enchanted weapons: is a much weaker form of cursed gear, usually a yaksha- or myo-o- class weapon. These can increase a regular human's strength by three to four times. Seven humans with these weapons should be able to kill one unarmed vampire, but an entire unit of them would have a difficult time against even one vampire with a second-class weapon.

Weapons vampires use: First-class weapons pierce a vampire's hand and drink vampire blood in order to significantly increase their power. Their nature is unknown, but they have existed prior to the 1300s.

Second-class weapons are used by common vampires, and are not as powerful as first-class weapons.
The weapons enhance their own physical abilities as well.

Gear: Vampires most commonly wear armbands on their left arms to protect themselves from UV light. They may also wear rings. This allows them to move under sunlight without harm, although they still dislike it.

Strengths: Vampires have impressive power and regenerative abilities; this increases with their lineage and age. They can easily reattach a limb. It is also possible to reattach a vampire's head, although the vampire in question will need someone to bring the two ends of the neck together. Nobles have the authority to turn a human into a vampire if they so choose. Vampires may increase their abilities by drinking human blood at any time.
Their senses are extremely powerful, and their eyesight allows them to distinguish a target several hundred meters away, even in pitch-black darkness. However, they no longer perceive anything as beautiful.

Weaknesses: They have immense pride and typically underestimate their human opponents or may refuse to work together with vampires of rival factions.
Sunlight Exposure to UV light will create a toxin in their bodies, and vampires must wear protective gear to neutralise this effect. Otherwise, they will burst into flame. Even with the protective gear, they disdain the sunlight, but they can tolerate it.
Daytime. Without protective gear, vampires are too tired to function during the day time
They can be killed if their heads are destroyed. One bullet will not do the job.
Cursed gear and enchanted gear used by the Japanese Imperial Demon Army limit their healing capabilities
Removing their heart will weaken them and begin to turn them into a demon.

Upon turning a corner and back to the queen, she caught Angel sneaking through the halls. "Need some help?" she purred, ffiddling with her dagger.

Harry gritted his teeth and got up, returning to his former battle-ready state. It was probably... not Sosuke. He darted to Kasumi, charging with his sword as if it were a lance. "Forgive me, Kasumi," the leader apologized, "I don't know what came over me."

"You are forgiven. But be more careful! I can only save your skin so much!" Quickly, she turned around, stabbing the higher ranked vampire in the chest with venom blade. That won't kill him, but it should have startled him... Then, she threw more shuriken, striking a second class vampire with an electric shuriken, stunning them for a second. She moved in for the kill, slashng it across the head three times, until it fell off. "One down, three to go!"

"I'll wait." Petal said quietly, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Why don't we go to your castle? I want to find her, even if I'm just finding her body." She fiddled with her katana. "She deserves a proper burial."

Harry lay staring at the ceiling on his bed for what seemed like hours... or at least 2 hours. He contemplated many actions during his thinking time, most revolving around suicidal plans to help their cause one last time or to take Bishaman and Sasuke down with him. Hopelessly miserable, he rose from bed and grabbed his sword and strode out through the base, an indecipherable expression plastered onto the leader's face. He was unsure of his next move, but it was going to be extreme.

Rei sat outside the castle, deep in thought. Nothing- or everything was on her mind at the moment.

Kasumi lept down in front of him. "Idiot! People are WAITING for you in there for you to lead them! You're the face of our fight now!" Her face softened. "Look, it's going to be hard... But you have to lead us! We'll be by your side, OK?"

Rubin grabbed his arm, pulling him back. He raised a fist and promptly punched Harry in the nose, hard. He then picked him up with surprising ease and pinched his neck, causing Harry to go limp. "Like I'm going to let my best friend go kill himself." He propped Harry up over his shoulder, and began walking away from the camp.

He tried to see it from their perspective, but it was virtually impossible to decipher the meaning of any of this. In the midst of letting out a deep sigh, still somewhat furious, he began, "I-," but was then knocked out cold by Rubin, which was what he really needed.

The hole in the wall opened into a little used hallway, evident from the layer of dust on the ground. Ara stood and looked around, then grabbed the angel boy's hand and started running.

Rubin finally reached a quiet clearing, and dumped Harry onto the ground. He swung up onto a rock, surrounded by beautiful swirls in the sand. Landing with ease, he crossed his legs and sat on the rock in a meditative position.

Harry opened an eye and wiped the blood off of his nose. "Rubin, you know how I feel about meditating," he complained, closing his eyes again.

"When Bishaman need guidance on guiding others," Rubin said, staring right at Harry. "She did many things that many deem unexciting, and not necessary. However, the fruits of her labor were not in vain." He smirked slightly. "Your first test is simple. Get to the rock without disturbing the rock garden. You may want to use that rake over there." He pointed, before adjusting his position.

"And look where she ended up," Harry grumbled, picking up the rake. He took a few moments to think, to no avail. "Rubin, I don't know. If you think this is going to help me, you can just quit this because I'm not in the mood."

"Too bad." Rubin replied cheerfully. "For you see, I will not let my friend kill themself, nor will I let you try to lead this group without the basic virtues of leadership." He grinned, leaning forward. "I've taken you to a place where if you try to leave, you'll loop back here again. Because the only exit..." Rubin gestured to the rock. "Is only accessible of you complete the test. Now, I can withstand days on this rock, in the forest. You on the other hand..." He shrugged. "Well, this is the only thing for you to do, so you better get cracking." Ruin leaned back, prepared to watch his friend.

They made it to a final, deadlocked door, and Ara stopped, staring at it.

After struggling time and again (and one point nearly snapping the rake in half), Harry completed the task and sat on the rock, feeling somewhat accomplished, although it still did not seem worth the trouble. "Done," he flatly stated, "Am I up to Bishaman's expectations yet?"

"Nope." Rubin smiled. "Now, you get to wait out here until morning, without getting off the rock." He pointed at the sunset. "I also suggest you admire the sunset." He took the rake, and jumped off the rock, fixing the garden as he left. He then tossed the rest back, "You'll also need to fix he garden when you leave." He called, brushing away some leaves covering a small cabin.

Angel blinked. "What now?"

Exasperatedly cupping his face in his hands, Harry sighed, then waved goodbye. Staring off into the beautifully painted sky, the tormented leader was left to ponder his multiple dilemmas, although he was still on-edge after the incident from that morning. He tried to doze off, but the rock was too uncomfortable. With one last growl, Harry crisscrossed his legs and waited for sunrise.

Becoming the general of the human army, she was know as Bishaman, a ruthless general bent on finding her lost family. And then, today happened. Everything unraveled, turning her back into a scared young woman with nobody but Sasuke and nothing to live for besides him and finding her daughter, dead or alive.

Rubin raised his paintbrush, thinking about his own life while Angel was with Ava, thinking the same things. They started put as playful young boys who soon had to grow up faster than they same hold have after watching their parents and older siblings die. Fleeing the vampires, they managed to get to the Resistance, and became the most powerful warriors... Rubin and Angel frowned, Angel touching the door and Rubin touching his canvas.

Harry hadn't felt this different from himself in a long time. He sat, miserable, yet less aggravated than he had been prior to his reaching of the trial. Before the vampire's raid, he had been a student like many of those who survived the sickness. He wasn't the brightest in the class; in fact, he was of the less academically inclined students. It felt odd to go from bottom of the grades in class to the leader of what was quite possibly the last known group of humans alive. He was holed up in his house when the vampires attacked, fighting alongside Sasuke to protect their family, but it was to no avail. Sosuke have Harry a chance to escape he took it, although he couldn't bear the thought of leaving him like that. Weary and broken-spirited, he made his way to a small camp that later became the human resistance. The vampires have experienced this too... Sasuke has. "We're all the same, really," he said, voice echoing through the virtually empty clearing. Harry was over another breakdown. He knew he was stronger. He knew the humans needed him and that he could prioritized himself no longer. "WE'RE ALL THE SAME!" he shouted once more, standing and balancing on the rock.

The blood from her ex-boyfriend, John, who drained her, was strapped to her waist, but she still couldn't bear the thought of this time drinking someone he once loved' blood. Frightened, they hid in John's apartment, but John wasn't going to make it. He had been bitten and stabbed in the stomach and was gradually bleeding out on his bed. Rei tended to him as best as she could and went to sleep. That night, she awoke to being jumped by John, who had already bitten her arm. Desperate, she pulled the knife he had been stabbed with out of his chest and stabbed him at least forty times until he stopped moving. Demoralized and dying, Rei wept for her boyfriend and passed out, to return as a vampire. She later ventured out and was taken by fellow vampires who sheltered her and welcomed her to the castle. Rei was once human. She was aware of the despair coursing through the world. "We're all the same, really," she weakly coughed, throwing the mason jar filled with John's blood. Losing her sanity and life, Rei blacked out on the steps in a pool of someone else's blood.

"Pipe down buddy, you still need to wait until sunrise!" Rubin bellowed. "I'm glad you finally figured it out, which means we can continue our training.... in the morning."

Harry shut his mouth. So much for a revelation... The thought of training more in the morning appeared less and less boring over the time he spent on the rock, but the notion of how tedious it was stuck.

Angel blinked. "What now?"

She looked at the door. "If I go outside," she said softly, "the sunlight will kill me."
