[Alchemist Kitsune]

In a desperate attempt to have less bookmarks clogging up my browser, and to keep a better track of who is doing what, I've decided to open up a tracker for my kitties and double it up as a finder. Oops. Sorry I took so long responding to this! I normally don't check the very bottom post of this thread if I don't get a mention.

As of right now Mousekit does have littermates and a family, but he is young - only 1 moon old as of today - very opinionated, stubborn, and highly impressionable! Depending on Featherstone's personality, I can definitely see Mousekit getting starry eyed and wanting to imitate her. First impressions are everything to him, though, so it really would depend on not necessarily how they meet but what he notices of her before he decides that he wants to be her messy little shadow. :rofl: Would love an interaction between the two if you ever want to subject Featherstone to the muddy terror that is Mousekit! :lovesquee:

Mousekit currently hates - completely and absolutely - his grandfather, Elmshadow, because his mother dislikes him, so obviously he does too. He hates even more that Elmshadow looks like him - it's not that Mousekit looks like him, Elmshadow stole his look - so having him look for a better gramps that is the venerable, ancient age of 24 moons - because Mousekit would one hundred percent be like "Whoa, you've seen all the seasons? You are so old!" - is awesome! I'm open to an interaction with either. :heartbounce:

Mouse is being aged at two moons per week until he reaches apprentice age, so if you would like for him to be a bit older or if you would prefer for it to be while he's still pretty young, I'm good either way!

I'm hesitant to choose a mentor for him already due to him not being an apprentice until March at the earliest, but if you like Feather's and Mouse's chemistry as a potential mentor/apprentice duo and are still interested by then I would be open to it!

And just for information's sake, how old is Littlekit? Would like to know if she's older or younger than Lightingkit - or the same age - as she might respond a bit different depending on the age difference if there is any.

Hi! I’d like to throw out a proposition for you to consider down the line. I’m looking for Shadowfur to take on another apprentice now that Vulturefang is about to become a full warrior. I’ve been reading through some of your Mousekit posts, and I think Shadowfur would be a good fit for him!

Shadowfur is a strict and disciplined mentor. He’s a good teacher, but his methods can come across as harsh and intense at times. These qualities stem from an incident that happened with his first apprentice; his goal is to prepare any other apprentice he has for the dangers and challenges of life in the wild, so that they are unlikely to go through what his first apprentice did.

In addition, he is a silent Dawn opposer. He serves her loyally and diligently, and keeps the peace as much as possible, so that he can remain an Enforcer and hopefully grow into her inner circle. He cares deeply about ShadowClan, and believes that Dawnstar has guided them in the wrong direction. As such, if/when he comes to notice Mousekit’s positivity and passion, he will want to try to guide him and shape him into a warrior who can remain good while remaining in Dawn’s good graces and surviving. He will never express his disdain for Dawn’s leadership style; outwardly, he will appear as a loyal follower of her’s. However, he wants to try to keep tabs on all of the cats in ShadowClan who may feel as he does- or who could, if their nature is maintained properly.

This ended up being a really long proposal haha, but if you’d be open to considering Shadowfur for Mousekit’s mentor, let me know! ( Alchemist Kitsune )

I will admit that I have considered Mousekit will either end up going a lot darker as he ages up or he will die fairly young due to his personality clashing a bit too much with what is preferred among ShadowClan warriors. I had not considered the possibility of him having a mentor that would both nurture that softer side of him - even if it is in a stern way - as well as teach him how to survive while maintaining a level of genuine goodness within ShadowClan. It's definitely an interesting road to take him down on.

Because Mousekit is only 2 moons as of so far and won't be apprenticed until March at the very earliest I am a bit hesitant to reserve a mentor for him, but if you are still interested by March, I would definitely be up for that mentor/apprentice dynamic.

they are both 5 moons old, however caw could pass as a kit who is 3 moons old due to his small size, while moth looks like a cat of 6 moons old.

At the current moment, Snowybreeze is showing the first sign of Snow Fever and out on the territory in case he's sick, so as to not infect the rest of the clan. Depending on when Milkpaw comes back in relation to when the Snow Fever event ends, we could set up a private thread either right before Snowy gets infected or right after he gets healed? Regardless, I can see him approaching Milkpaw to check up on him. Having been present to the outburst he had right before he disappeared alongside having been a part of a patrol to find him that never did he would be concerned over how Milkpaw is doing and if he's finding himself fitting in the clan alright after having come back. Snowy isn't the most chatty cat most of the time, but his concern would definitely override his fear of being rude by asking too many questions in this situation! If you have another plot idea for their first meeting already in mind, however, I am super open to it.

Since I really don’t want my characters going inactive, I just thought I’d throw this prideful furball at you to see if you’re interested in a roleplay with him and Dapplebreeze sometime. After reading Dapplebreeze’s biography and personality, I was thinking Cricketkit could disrespect her a lil’ bit with his own arrogant personality. It would most likely just be an interaction of him trying to find something negative to say/do, her reacting to it however you’d like. (I’m still working on Cricketkit’s biography, but, it’s being brewed up. Over all, he’s a confident, arrogant, ambitious, feisty tom with anger issues. As us humans would say, “Oh yes, he bites.”
Though Cricketkit is more polite aeound warriors, this certainly doesn’t mean he is. Because he isn’t. He has yet to learn to keep his loud mouth shut in front of everybody. So there you go, there’s that idea.

Dapplebreeze was a queen up until very recently, and having raised three very rebellious, overly confident, or troublemaking kits of her own, I can actually consider her thinking him perhaps a bit lacking in maturity - to be expected from his age - but overall a promising kit all around. She does think confidence helps kits become competent apprentices. There is also the fact that she has a hard time being offended herself. Her own confidence in herself makes insults and impolite words mostly slide off her pelt pretty easily. That is something I need to properly update in her bio, but I am waiting for a different roleplay to end so I can expand a bit better on it.

But yes, it should be a fun roleplay! Would you like to do a starter or would you prefer for me to set one up?

I don't know how long the Snow Fever will be lasting for, but if it's done by the time Milkpaw returns, we could have the roleplay in public. If Snow Fever is still ongoing or you would prefer private we can do private instead.

Not for right now, unfortunately. :o Lightningstorm, Snowybreeze, and Gnawingpaw all have rped mothers - well, Snowybreeze's was not rped, but that was mostly because all plans I had to rp her got cancelled and by this point she would have moved on from the clans and forgotten about them - and Dapplebreeze and Sprucejumper have no chance for a roleplayed mother. Dapplebreeze on account that she is too old and it would have to be a cat that shared her -breeze suffix, as it is the "family" name, and Sprucejumper was born a kittypet to a Birman mother and a Havana Brown father that lived in the same twoleg nest. Sorry!
