Every single person who manifested powers—we call them Epics—turned out to be evil.

Here, in the city once known as Chicago, an extraordinarily powerful Epic declared himself Emperor. Steelheart has the strength of ten men and can control the elements. It is said no bullet can harm him, no sword can split his skin, no explosion can burn him. He is invincible.

It has been ten years. We live our lives as best we can. Nobody fights back... nobody but the Reckoners. A shadowy group of ordinary humans who spend their lives studying powerful Epics, finding their weaknesses, then assassinating them.

This Roleplay takes place in a post-apocalyptic world created by Brandon Sanderson. (https://brandonsanderson.com/books/steelheart/steelheart/) The city of Newcago is cast in a darkness created by Nightwielder, and those who keep everyone in line, Enforcement, use devices powered by an epic who keeps in the shadows known as Conflux. Steelheart can turn anything nonliving into steel.

(But none of these characters matter; we're starting with new characters.)

However, there is hope. The Reckoners fight from the shadows, slowly picking off the Epics one by one. But the question is, are you a Epic, a Coward, an Enforcement officer, or a Reckoner?

A short-medium heighted individual with tan skin, and light freckles. His eyes are an icy blue, while his hair is russet. A rather light and lithe build.
Epic Looks:
His usually russet hair is overlayed by white, though his russet undertone still shows underneath. Generates small smoke wisps that curl about his body/emanate off of him, and appears to be decorated with paints and trinkets. A false fox tail and ears sprout from his head and lower back, though these can easily be "disturbed" as they are made of pure smoke.
Personality:
Garrin is a trickster at heart, always wanting to have fun in his own special little way. In his case, this includes the stealing of small objects to keep for his own decorative purposes, and to play childish games with others. He can be quite annoying to stay around with his strange behaviour, and thus doesn't make many permanent friends. He still hopes to one day have someone that enjoys how he acts to be close to him.

He's very easily distracted, and his powers are quite limited, as he can only manage to conjure illusory patterns and images. He can't generate enough smoke to suffocate, so instead uses the smoke for "artistic" purposes at times, though a more useful use is to distract and confuse enemies, so that others can ambush an enemy.
