14. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice
This one just seems unnecessary, you'd think it would be because the deputy would have experience with taking sort of care of a cat, just like a deputy helps the leader take care pf their clan, but mentoring wouldn't give the proper experience for being a deputy, when mentoring your training that Apprentice, And kinda watching over them while your doing whatever while out of camp with them. But when being deputy you're planning patrols, helping the leader make decisions, and still doing what warriors do.
3.An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the code, or it is necessary for self-defense.
I have agree with this half don't on one side I get it cause imagine if this rule didn't exist and cats kept getting killed left and right, but imagine a character like tigerclaw that isn't always trying to kill firestar, but is evil and does want to cause trouble for their gain, I feel like that could be a reasonable exception. Also I feel like they should just apply no killing random cats to all cats instead of making the rule apply to just cats following the code.
(couldn't find the number for this) Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits, as they must be able to heal all cats equally
This one makes absolutely NO sense to me, especially for cats not having kits. It useless because mate or no mate a good medicine would heal all the cats they need to all the same. at that point if their mate is in the way, the issue isn't that they're a medicine cat it's that either of the mates (or both) are causing a problem. As cats having kits ( I mean the ones that are giving birth) I feel like they still should be, but there has be an apprentice medicine cat or another medicine cat that isn't also having kits, the only reason that'd be needed is during the cat giving birth, just like a warrior giving birth.
