Eclipse is a nervous, well-mannered and kind tom. He is very self-confident and sometimes can come across as dismissive especially when it comes to dealing with emotions. He’s not the happiest cat in the world but he does his best. He has a difficult time trusting and getting close to cats, he blames this on his rocky relationship with his mother and lack of a father.
Phobias: He wouldn’t admit it to anyone but he is scared of spiders and the dark.

Background
Eclipse was born to a kitty-pet named Moonlight. His father was unknown to both him and his mother. His mother was distraught when she noticed he’d been born with only one eye and tended to neglect his needs and named him Slash. He personally hated his name but feared to say a word. He had various littermates, though he never got close to any of them except one, the runt of one of his mother’s more recent litter, a black she-cat named Squeak. The two were almost inseparable once Squeaks eyes opened. One night the two snuck out of the safety of their mothers watchful eyes. They were playfighting when Eclipse accidentally knocked her over a cliff. She fell to her death, the tom was devastated but his mother refused to do anything but berate him about it. This continued up until he decided to leave her for good at 7 moons.
It was a relief to finally be free from her and her snide comments. With this new freedom came confidence in his abilities to do this. He changed his name to Eclipse after he found himself quite useful despite being half blind. He taught himself how to hunt and fight, little did he know, combat was going to come in handy sooner than later. Once night while he was exploring he stepped across a clan border and got attacked. His ear was damaged and his hearing was lost in that ear. He struggled for a bit after that but he eventually learned to live with it. He found a nice place to make a den in the roots of a large tree and is currently still residing there.
