Ginger ran from a bank, a sack over her shoulder as she ran. She heard shouting behind her and she just laughed as she jumped over the wall of a park and slid into a underground hideout.

Storm was sitting in the corner of the room, doing some class work and studying for the test coming up.

Maple closed the door to the hideout. "Record time too. I'm impressed with that one."

"Thanks, Maple." Ginger said, grinning as she set down the bag. She pushed her hair into a braid and sat down on her mat.

Maple smiled and tossed her a sandwich. "I hate when idiots raise the price of food." He said. He laid a drink next to her.

Ginger was running back when she tripped over something. Her elbow and knee got the blow and she looked up. She looked up and saw her enemy from High School. "Lotus!" She gasped. She scrambled to her feet and ran before Lotus could react. Ginger climbed into the hideout and threw the lights. She sat down on the mat and winced as she looked at her elbow and knee, which were covered in dirt and blood.

"You alright?" Maple asked in concern and kneeled down next to her.

"Yeah, I just tripped." She said. It was a full lie- Lotus had tripped her.

Maple wet a small towel and went back to her. "This might sting." He said putting the towel on the cut, the towel having a few drops of alcohol on it.

She gritted her teeth. A single tear fell down her face. When she was younger, she had gotten a cut and Heart had had to clean it with alcohol and she had burst into tears.

Ginger sniffed and wiped her cheek. She laid her head on Maple's shoulder, her eyes shut.

Ginger was stuffing her pockets with stuff when she felt someone grab both of her arms. She twisted her head around and saw Lotus smirking smugly and a guard gripping her arms. "You're going to jail for robbery." He said. Lotus laughed and waved her hand at Ginger as she was pushed away.

Maple was thinking to himself. Worrying about Ginger. He wondered if she would be ok, then he shook his head. Of course she was fine. He turned the tv on and put on the news channel.

A newsman was filming this, since the robber from ages before had been caught, Ginger. "Let go of me!" She screeched, trying to rip out of his grip. He just tightened it. "Let go of m-" Ginger was shoved into the car.

A cop stood behind him, holding a gun to his head. "Back away from the girl."

Maple sighed and dropped the pick and backed away from the door and turned to face him.

He narrowed his eyes and curled his finger around the trigger slowly.

Ginger bit her tongue so she won't scream.

"And now you leave, before I shoot you."

With amazing speed, Maple pulled out his silenced gun and shot him between the eyes.

The man fell backwards. Ginger scrambled to her feet and pulled out her knife, which they forgot to take from her. She actually had three. "Let's blow this popsicle stand." She said, twirling her knife.

Maple led her a secret way out.

She followed him silently, her hand wrapped around the handle of her knife so tightly her knuckles were white.

He opened a door that led outside. "Go." He said quietly.

"You're gonna follow me, right?" She whispered, laying a hand on his arm.

"I'll follow you to the end of the world." He said. "And that's a promise."

"Be careful." She kissed his cheek and she ran towards the park.

Maple was right behind him.

Ginger heard a noise behind her. She screamed and clutched her foot.

"Shh." Maple said. "I got you." He carried her the rest of the way.

He took his jacket off and and the sleeve of his shirt was red.

"Hope you know how to ride a bike." Spotted called, dragging to bikes from thw backyard.

Lifted herself off her seat and smiled as wind blew past her face, teasing her hair into tangles.

He smiled and stopped when they got there.

Spotted stopped her bike and locked it to a pole so that no one could steal it. She handed a lock to Storm.

"Come on, it's about to start!" She grabbed his hand and ran inside. She had already bought the tickets. Spotted stopped at the concession stand.

"I'll save us some seats." He ran to the movie.

Spotted took the fifty bucks her mom gave her out of her pocket and asked for two large sodas and popcorn, twizzilers for her and whoppers for Storm. She paid for it all and started walking towards the theater.

"Is this place taken?" A girl with pale blonde hair asked, pointing at the seat beside Storm.

"Oh, sorry." The girl smiled and spotted her friends and ran up. Spotted walked towards Storm. She sat down and handed him the whoppers and a soda.

"Thanks." He whispered.

"No problem," Spotted whispered, nibbling on a Twizzler.

Just then, the movie began to start.

Spotted went dead silent and watched the movie.

Finch sat in a tree, his sister, Amber, draped on the branch next to him. Both were asleep.

Spotted had barely done anything the whole time. She still had most of her Twizzlers and soda.

Storm's whoppers were basically gone, but he still had a full soda.

Spotted stood up, picking up her Twizzlers and walking down the isle as the credits rolled.

"Thanks for taking me." He said.

"No problem, Storm." She said. Spotted smiled at him. "Oh yeah, you can keep the bike."

Storm shook his head. "It's yours. I am not taking it."

"Nah." Spotted started walking outside.

Storm didn't say anything. "It'll get taken."

"I'm not taking the bike." He said.

Spotted sighed. "At least keep it for the night. I'll come for it tomorrow." She said, unlocking her bike and climbing onto it.

"Fine." He unlocked the bike and began to ride home. "See you tomorrow."

"Cya." Spotted started riding home, smiling. You're such an idiot.

Storm made it back to his house and sat down at the front.

Spotted set her bike down on the lawn and ran into the house. She ran up the stairs and then up a ladder. She dropped onto her bed and smiled.

He gazed up at the stars, he saw a shooting star and made a wish.

Spotted yawned and turned off her light, falling asleep.

He went into his house.

Maple opened his eyes, he was close to falling asleep.
