This rp is based off the game called horizon zero dawn which is set about one thousand years in the future in a world where humans have regressed to primitive tribal societies as a result of some unknown calamity that destroyed human civilization. Their technologically advanced predecessors are vaguely remembered as the “Old Ones”. Large robotic creatures known simply as “machines” now dominate the Earth. For the most part they peacefully coexist with humans, who occasionally hunt them for parts
They are three big tribes: the Nora, the Carja, and the Oseram. The Nora are fierce hunter-gatherers who live in the mountains and worship nature as the “All-Mother.” The Carja are desert-dwelling city builders who worship the Sun. The Oseram are tinkerers known for their metalworking, brewing, and arguing; they also serve as mercenaries.
Weapons you can use: SPEARS, bows, rattlers ( The rattlers are short range, burst fire weapons. They are designed for close quarters only, as their accuracy drops off after just a few feet. ), ropecasters ( The ropecasters are a form of tether device. They can be used to attach thick cables to machines, pinning them in place. The bigger the machine, the more shots it will take. Useful for locking down fast moving foes, or enemies who just won't back off. ), SLINGS ( they are slow but launch bombs ), TRIPCASTERS ( like ropecasters but much stronger)
The machines you can be or face or override ( in the game there is a special tool connected to your spear that can override machines and make them your friends or pets or even can give you a ride and fight in battle)
Watchers ( they observe and scan the environment in search for threats. If a danger is spotted, the Watcher will let out an electronic screech that alerts all nearby machines and they can attack humans by charging and tackling them, knocking them down and doing light damage. Strider ( Like the Watchers that commonly accompany Strider herds, Striders have no weaponry. The story for this is: a masked man has destroyed a village of three kids he has destroyed this village by controlling the machines making them kill and destroy. These three kids saw this and lived to tell the tale this man wears a mask with a bloody smile on his face and he wears a black robe that hides his hair and skin and welds a glowing red spear and the machines he controls have red like vines coming out of they're head. He still lives and these three kids are now adults and
Have found out how he's done it and have taught others of how to use this but they still seek revenge on this bloodthirsty man of the moon named killer

Winter a man with white hair and ice blue eyes was hunting down a few gazers watching them from afar as he readied his bow winter was a hunter of the Nora tribe but he was also considered to be a warrior as well

Honor swung past him, throwing her powerful spear right into the chest of a deer. "Finally!" She said in a relieved tone, not seeming to notice the masked man.
"Farel! Were did you go?" She called as a girl with hair ran towards her. "H-here! Oh, poor animal!" She said then smiled. "But, its blood looks so de-" Honor cut Her off. "Don't. You. Dare." She growled and Farel stepped back. Bumping into the masked man. "S-sorry!"

The man looks at them as the watchers immediately react getting ready to attack but the man waves his hand softly stopping them " just be careful " he says in a dark husky voice as he looks at the dead deer " .... you know we already have a lot of food back home right?"

Honor growled her stubbornness taking over she opend her arms and walked towards her. Farel grabbed Honor's arm and twisted it, and flipped. her. "I get you next time. She said making a clicking noise with her mouth and it cautiously hop toward her. She picked it up and it rested in her arms as she softly petted it.

Gazz trailed through the forests, whirring slightly with each step. He shook his head slightly, scanning his surroundings before ducking his head to graze. He looked back up immediately at the sound of a tree falling, looking around for where the noise was coming from. He saw the tree, approaching slightly, but cautiously.

The man sighs loudly as he senses something coming " both of you stand down and watch closely " he says coldly as he begins to walk slowly within the grass he sees gazz and gets his spear ready as he suddenly stands up showing the glazer that he was there. Gazz stared, watching as the man raised his spear. Tilting his head to the side, he made a peculiar warbling noise once it was raised, staying perfectly still. Lowering his head slightly, he bared his metallic antlers, though remained still. He didn't want to charge just yet, so a warning would suffice for now.

Gazz lowered his head further, pacing forward slightly. The whirrs subsided once he stopped, and the small hiss of released air emitted from the robotic creature's "mouth". It thrusted its head forward slightly, antlers waving in front.

The grazer cried out in alarm, galloping forward with its head lowered, preparing to scoop up the attacker if he got close enough.

Once he was close enough immediately begins to get ready to drive the override in gazz's head and strikes forward aiming for the head

Upon the impact of the override, Gazz stopped, abruptly. What was he doing? Soft whirring emitted from the grazers joints as it stayed still, unable to move for some strange reason, head stuck in its lowered position. He stomped a metal hoof in protest, another hiss of air escaping from him.

Gazz wasn't prepared for the unexpected feeling that seemed to rush through his circuits. Still stomping slightly, the grazer shook its head a little, though it didn't seem to stop the source from scrambling his thoughts the way it did.
But then, everything was fine afterwards. A stranger sort of feeling hung by him, though it wasn't a bother as he'd imagined. Stopping his verbal complaints, the grazer gazed at the man, raising its head once more.

Farel squirmed out of Honors grip and softly touched the watcher closest to Sasuke. She began to pet it as far as she could reach, while still staying close to Sasuke. "Could you teach, to override and tame?" She asked.

She widened her eyes and looked into the cave. "You know what imma just leave now...." She said turning around. "Oh no you don't squirt!" Honor said pushing her in, then walking away looking something to do. Remembering her deer she quickly ran to retrieve it.

Peter was walking through the woods, gathering berries. He was wearing a dark red cloak, the hood hiding his features. He carried a woven basket in his hand, full of berries and nuts, as well as a few vegetables he found throughout the forest. He softly hummed a song to himself, bending down to the level of the bush and quietly picking the berries.

Sasuke smiles as he walks in showing a huge around filled with powerful machines at least four thunderjaw and two huge stormbird sitting on the roof watching them though a huge hole at least five behemoths were together in a herd with a few tramplers and watcher far from them nearby a pool was a few snapmaws and ravager and sawtooths with a few chargers, striders and broadheads in holes of the caves were stalkers and glinthawks and many other machines were there as well in herds all in this huge cave but only at least two grazers " welcome to my family " he says with a dangerous glow in his eyes " and I'm still going to get more but this alone is enough to destroy any town I desire but It's not enough I want everyone to bow down to the moon and you all will help me in the honor of the moon "

Winter watches peter from afar and jumps down from a tree trying to scare peter " hello!" He yelled playfully

Peter looked up, hearing something moving in the trees. He saw Winter jump down and squealed, falling back in surprise. After realizing it was Winter, he sighed, relaxing and sitting up to collect the berries that had spilled out over the ground. "Hello, Winter. It's nice to see you on such a beautiful day." And so it was. The sky was a gorgeous cyan color, puffy white clouds dotting the sky. A cool breeze softly flowed through the leaves of the cherry blossom trees, making their branches shake. A few birds fluttered through the air, some hopping along the surface of the earth and pecking the ground to search for grub as a meal.

Peter smiled in a cute way, sitting down under a cherry blossom tree, the ground littered with soft pink petals. He leaned against the bark, closing his eyes and setting his basket full of food next to him, waiting for the story.

Peter's eyes had closed again as he listened to the story, and he had begun drifting off to sleep. He began falling to the side, but rested his head on Winter's shoulder, falling into a deeper sleep and making cute noises as he slept.

Peter's mind and body relaxed in comfort and safety, a small smile on his face. He dreamed about Winter and him, having fun times and enjoying each other. He smiled a little more, scooting a little bit closer to Winter.

Peter woke up a little while later, cracking his eyes open. The sun was hot in the sky, and there was no longer a cool breeze. The cherry blossom trees were cherry blossoms no more; except now they were dead trees with gnarled branches and old wood. The dirt was old and crumbly, with dry grass poking through around the trees. Looking around, Peter saw shadow-like creatures with large white orbs for eyes, their bodies twisting and gliding around like a ghost. One approached Peter, suddenly opening it's mouth. Inside were rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth, and a long black tongue. He screamed loudly, only to have everything turn black.

Peter bolted upright and was breathing heavily, his body shaking. He looked around, finding everything to be normal again. A nightmare. It was just a nightmare... Like every other nightmare he'd ever had. He was just a little lucky to dream about a good thing before the nightmare. Peter closed his eyes, gripping the soft grass beneath him and trying to calm down.

Gazz hissed at her once he heard her little spiel. Midnight was a terror, and it was unfair that she was being treated like she wasn't. He just didn't trust them, yet... And he definitely didn't trust Midnight. He snorted slightly as the stalker aimed at him, and though he acted unafraid, he began to pace to the side, trying to avoid her aim.
