Atazi was weaving through the underbrush of the rainforest, her sharp eyes focused on the Pridelands. Mangu, her best friend (despite her egotistical nature) was perched on her shoulder.

"Perhaps you should go back," Mangu whispered nervously. "You know your father would not agree with you sneaking out of the Rainforest."

Atazi snorted. "That tiger king won't even notice. I'm just the cub his mate adopted, I'm not important."

"You're the future queen of the Rainforest!" Mangu said shrilly. "Do you really want Nigel or Kevin to be king?"

Atazi shuddered, but continued on her way. "They'll grow up." One of these days... She thought bitterly of her older brothers.

Chaka lunged at Kion, sending the two tumbling sharply through the tall grass in the Pridelands as they tussled.
Kion grabbed Chaka's ear and tugged. "Get outta here evil Desertlander!"
"Ha, ha, ha! Not until I capture the Prince and take him back to my Empire of Doom!" Chaka cackled, pinning him to the ground.
"You will never take me alive!" Kion yowled, kicking at his stomach in an attempt to push him off.
"Then I will have no choice but to destroy you!" Chaka grinned, nipping at his ears and nose playfully.
"You can try!" Kion squirmed slightly, grabbing his ear once more and tugging.

Bunga made his way to the border, chuckling to himself. I swear those two are so oblivious to eachother, He rolled his eyes, thinking of Kion and Chaka. They shoulda hooked up by now.

"You wouldn't dare, Mangu." Atazi snickered. "Because you'd get in as much trouble as me- Ow!" Atazi felt herself run into something, and looking around she could see that that 'something' was a honey badger cub. "Pardon me," She apolagized.

Okay so I think I'm going to have Uzuri in a love triangle with Nuka and Jace x3, but what if Kion, Kiara, Kila, Lilli, Tawi, Moja and the rest of the guard got accepted in a special school filled with royals and high class creatures from all over Africa? Don't worry I won't just dump it on you I'll slowly walk you through it x3.
There are different classes and dorms for what each student wouldlike to become and study, including witchcraft and magics
Uzuri is going to be a princess again because I really liked that version of her, I also like her as a shy little peanut so that's coming back too x3. She's gonna be like Moana but with a different personality. Same love for water however.
I thought that most of our Characters could go to the school, because you know, fun :3

"Nooooo!!" Kopa spun around and ran back to Nala
Moja and Tawi let out screams of frustration
"Kopa, you haven't even reached the school and you're a nervous reck," Nala sighed, licking her cubs head
"What if Kion doesn't like me!?" Kopa whimpered "what if there's spiders and snakes and bees and bullies?"
"Kopa," Nala sighed again

(Honestly? xDD I think his siblings he could warm up to, like be friends with, and maybe he could even forgive Simba and Nala but I cant really see him completely becoming part of the family again....But it all depends XDD)
Kiara groaned. "Kopa if you dont get your butt out here it wont be spiders or snakes or bullies you should worry about!"
"Kiara!" Kila scolded before smiling at Kopa. "I'll protect you. Nobody messes with Kila the Crusher remember?"

"If I may," Atazi stepped closer to Kopa, and smiled at the others briefly before looking Kopa in the eyes. "This school is a safe enviornment. Bullying is not tolerated, and you have a curriculem in which you can choose whichever subject you want. Do not worry."

"Agh!" Kiara groaned. "Im not gonna be late for my first day because of some crybaby." She turned and darted off.
"Kiara!" Kila exclaimed, staring after her. She glanced at Kopa sympathetically before bounding after her sister.
Lilliana sighed, turning to Kopa. "Cmon Ko-Ko." She coaxed, then looked at Nala. "Maybe you should come too, to drop us off. He might feel better if you come."
(Meep. Everyone's changed since Kion stopped coming around XD Kopa's a big scaredy cat, Kila's more gentle and sweet, Kiara gets frustrated and angered easily, Kion's somewhat emotionless when it comes to his family....Are Lilliana, Moja, and Tawi the only ones who havent changed XDD)

"Kion, Chaka!" Called a familiar voice. A sandy colored lion with a thick black mane raced up. He was slightly older than Chaka.
"Hey guys!" A dark brown lionness about his age trotted after him, her ears pricked up and her blue eyes bright.
"Hey you go to school here too!" Cheered a light gray lion with a dark blueish-black mane, bounding after her. He looked a bit older than her.
"Jace, Vexy, Vincent!" Kion cheered, looking up from where he had Chaka pinned.
Chaka struggled in his grip, laughing. "Now the fun's really starting!"
"We're gonna do a huge prank on the school. Something huge!" Jace announced, tail waving.
"Sounds fun." Kion smiled cheekily down at Chaka.
"We're gonna throw paint at all the other students." Vexy raised her eyebrows. "Blue paint. That doesnt wash off easily."
"It was my idea!" Vincent puffed out his chest.
"No it wasnt." Jace scoffed, smirking at him.
"Great way to start off the school year." Chaka kicked Kion off and sat up with a grin.

Kopa sighed and looked at his paws. Why am I such a scaredy-cat? He thought pitifully
"That might be wise," Nala reached down and picked Kopa up by his scruff
"First day of school! First day of school!" Moja and Tawi chanted as they sprinted after their sisters

"Oh, no," Uzuri whined as she walked along the balcony of the school. She was balancing five books on her back and four on her head "Oh dear oh dear oh dear, what was I thinking?" How could she be so dumb that she thought she could carry nine books by herself? It's common logic! Just a few more hallways She thought to herself. unfortunately, her books had other plans. her paw snagged on the carpet, causing her to trip and nearly fall, then, to her dismay, two of the books fell and hit Chaka right on his head.

"Great, im supposed to meet Lavender at school." Lilliana suddenly bounded forward, reaching up and giving Kopa a quick lick on the nose. "And dont worry, big bro." she purred, rubbing her head under his chin before turning and bounding after Tawi and Moja.

"OUCH!" Chaka exclaimed, rubbing his head. "The hell!"
Kion promptly burst out laughing, falling to his side.
"Yeah its so funny just wait till a book magically falls on your head." Chaka grumbled, throwing the book at him.
Kion caught it between his teeth. "It wasnt magic, dummy. Look behind you."
Chaka turned, and blinked at Uzuri. "Well see, that makes more sense."
"No duh." Kion laughed, throwing the book over his head toward Uzuri. "Heads up!"

"I hear my brother!" Kila said excitedly, padding forward slightly.

"Oh, no," Uzuri whined as she walked along the balcony of the school. She was balancing five books on her back and four on her head "Oh dear oh dear oh dear, what was I thinking?" How could she be so dumb that she thought she could carry nine books by herself? It's common logic! Just a few more hallways She thought to herself. unfortunately, her books had other plans. her paw snagged on the carpet, causing her to trip and nearly fall, then, to her dismay, two of the books fell and hit Chaka right on his head.


Atazi heard the crash, and she raced towards Uzuri. "Oh my!" She gasped. "Princess Uzuri,let me help you with your books." She picked them up, and snagged the ones on Chaka without glancing at him, and balanced a few on her own back. "Would you like some help?" She offered.

"Merci, Madam," Uzuri replied shyly "but really I should, whoa!" and just like that, Uzuri lost her balance and fell over the balcony, yowling as she fell right onto Jace.

"oh my!" Atazi gasped, abandoning the books as she attempted to grab Uzuri before she fell. "Goddesses above, are you alright Princess?" She called down.

Jace shook Uzuri off. "You alright there?" He raised an eyebrow at Uzuri, glancing at Vexy with a smile.

"COMING THROUGH!!!" A group of tigers darted past Chaka and Kion. Kion flinched away visibly, and Chaka brushed against him.
"As if it wasnt bad enough that my so-called 'family' is showing up." Kion muttered.
Chaka nudged him. "Chin up, chin up!"
Kion scoffed. "Not as long as they're around."
Chaka shook his head. "Are we going inside or what?"
"Well I gotta clean my fur up again." Kion sat up, lowering his head and beginning to groom his chest fur.
"Grah!" Chaka groaned. "Kiongozi I will drag you in there myself!"
"I cant go in there looking like this!" Kion exclaimed, grooming his fur down. "Just give me a second!"
"You are such a girl sometimes I swear..." Chaka grumbled.

"Oh my gosh!" Uzuri scramble to her feet, then crouched and started bowing frantically "I'm so sorry please forgive me I'm really clumsy oh my gosh this is terrible please don't be mad did I say sorry if not I really am!"

"Im going in!" Kiara marched forward, putting a smile on her face. "Kion!"
Lilliana watched from next to Nala and Kopa, frowning faintly.
Kion looked up, and immediately the expression on his face changed from amused, to hostile, to guarded in an instant. He stared at Kiara blankly, not speaking.
"Oh no." Chaka sighed, sitting up.
"What, not gonna say hello to your big sister?" Kiara teased, padding forward to touch noses with Kion.
Kion pulled back, still unspeaking.
"Kion?" Kiara frowned. "Whats wrong?"
"You okay?" Kila frowned, padding beside her. "I know its been a while, but you remember us right?"
"Vaguely." Kion answered, his voice blank, emotionless. "Kiara and Kila right?"
"Yep!" Kiara smiled cheerfully. "Your sisters."
Kion let out a dry chuckle. "Not exactly."
Kiara looked at him, eyebrows raised. "Huh?"
"'Sisters'," Kion made quotes with his paws. "Dont just leave and abandon their family."
"Uh, you were the one that did that." Kiara corrected.
Kion's eyes hardened. "I left because I--"
"You left because you're dramatic and thought if you ran off someone would go looking for you." Kiara replied smoothly.
"Kiara!" Kila gasped.
Kion snarled in the back of his throat. "Oh is that what you think?"
"Its that I know." Kiara narrowed her eyes.
"Well then you know nothing, dont you." Kion growled. "At first I was going to come back. I wasnt even planning on leaving that day, just going out for a walk. You wanna know why I didnt come back?"
"Enlighten me." Kiara snarled.
Kion stared at her, almost in disgust for a moment, then scoffed. "Why do I even bother with you people anymore."
"Why are you being so hostile?" Kiara snapped.
"Ki," Kila warned.
Kion snarled at his older sister, amber eyes cold. "Why are you getting in my business?"
"I just asked you a question! I cant ask my little brother a question?!"
Kion scoffed. "You can ask Kopa whatever you want! As far as im concerned, im not even your brother!"
Kiara growled. "You are my brother. We're blood!"
"Blood doesn't always mean family." Kion countered. "And family doesn't always mean blood."
Kiara stared at him, puzzled. "What are you talking about?"
Kion sighed, and gestured to Jace, Vincent and Vexy. "Vincent and Jace are my big brothers." He stated. "And Vexy is my big sister." He nodded at Bunga. "Bunga's my little brother," He looked over at Chaka and smiled. "And Chaka's my best friend." He then narrowed his eyes at Kiara. "As for you....I dont even know you."
"Im your sister!" Kiara exclaimed.
"Name one thing you know about me!" Kion roared, losing his patience.
Kiara's eyes hardened, but she couldnt think of anything and looked away.
"Exactly." Kion laughed dryly. "You dont know me. I dont know you."
"Im. Your. Sister." Kiara growled.
Kion shook his head. "You werent there."
Kiara blinked, turning back to him. "What?"
Kion chuckled, then started laughing. "You dont even know," He chuckled. "You dont even know me."
"Why do you keep saying that?!" Kiara looked exasperated.
"Forget it." Kion sighed, closing his eyes. "Just leave me alone."
"No." Kiara padded forward. "Kion, im your sis--"
Before she could finish her sentence, Kion lashed out in pure rage. His claws slashed over Kiara's muzzle, causing her to leap back. Kion's eyes held nothing except anger.

Kiara gasped, putting a paw over her muzzle. Blood dripped down onto the ground, and she stared at Kion in shock and....Fear. For once the sense was knocked back into her, her eyes were clear for the first time in months.
Kila's eyes widened. "...."
"You have no right to call yourself that." Kion growled. "Not after everything."
"I didnt do anything." Kiara whispered, shaking her head.
"Exactly."
"Kion please....Tell me why you're upset." Kiara begged.
"Nobody did anything...." Kion chuckled halfheartedly, before flicking his tail toward Chaka.

"Just get it over with." Kion whispered, his gaze fixed on the ground. He no longer looked angry, just....Done. Exhausted. Beaten.
Chaka nodded and looked up again. "About two months ago Kion was taken by a group of tigers."
Kion visibly flinched.
Chaka wrapped his tail around the younger cub, almost protectively, and continued softly. "He was captured and tied up in a cell, no light, no food, no water. The tigers," Anger flared up in his eyes. "Lets just say they....Had fun....Breaking Kion..." This time it was him who flinched, glancing down at the cub. "They continued to do so even after Kion was broken. It took a month of searching but I eventually found where they held him and broke him out. We havent seen the group, or their leader Lucifer--" Kion flinched. "--Since. But thats what happened, thats why he didnt return back to Pride Rock." Chaka sighed, lowering his head to rest it on Kion's. "You okay buddy?"
"Mhm." Kion was staring at the ground, pain mixing with fear in his eyes, yet the same blank look.
Meanwhile Kiara, Kila, Bunga, Jace, Vexy, Vincent and even Lilliana were in shock, staring at Kion with wide eyes and pale faces.

(Kion is usually calm and collected, mostly quiet but with a sense of authority. He'll be stern in most situations, especially dangerous ones, and usually acts before he thinks which leads him into more trouble. Those who havent broke through his mental walls see the cold, silent, blank, emotionless cub, but those who have broke through see the fun-loving adventurous one. In most scenarios Kion can be serious, in others he can still be an immature cub. Only one person though, Chaka, knows whats really on the inside, what he doesnt show anyone else. He gets scared, and lashes out at tigers not out of anger but out of fear. Saber-toothed tigers are a different story though, he wont mess with them. He believes himself to be broken but isnt really....Not completely at least.)

"There." Kion said blankly. "Now you know....Some, of what Chaka knows." He shrugged, closing his eyes as he leaned against his best friend.
Chaka closed his eyes as well, regret flickering across his face.
"Kion.." Kiara breathed.
"Why didnt you come to us?" Kila choked out, wide-eyed.
"Why would I have?" Kion opened his eyes and stared at her in both confusion and slight anger. "As long as I was at Pride Rock I never felt like I belonged. I never even remotely felt like I was wanted there. My parents ignored me, my siblings were always busy getting showered with attention. I wasnt jealous, I was never jealous. I was just angry at myself. I didnt understand what i'd done wrong...." He flinched. "....I had no reason to go back. I wasnt going to sit around so the pain could get worse." His shoulders dropped as he leaned against Chaka even more, looking defeated. "So I didnt bother."

Atazi brought Uzuri to the classroom they both were looking for, and sat down with a grumble. "Great, family drama everywhere!" She gestured wildly, before looking at Uzuri. "I'm Princess Atazi River, daughter of King Borealis and Queen Aurora of the Rainforest District. My brothers, Kevin and Nigel, despite being first-born are last in line for the throne. It's caused some... Tension between us because I'm adopted." Atazi grimaced. "And your Princess Uzuri. I know of you by reputation only."

Blue is a cool color, like ice. around others you don't know, trust, or like, you're hostile and straight forward, like ice, you have no sympathy, and are cold. But blue is also water. You flow free and when you can have a opened mind. you don't like being held down, you move with the tides as a free runner." Kopa stood, his posture still hunched and afraid-looking. He walked past everyone and said when he past Kion, "My favorites green." He walked inside with his head low.
Moja and Tawi looked shocked
"He's never talked that much before," Tawi mumbled

Kion just stood there, staring straight ahead. He had confusion written all over his face, completely and utterly puzzled.
"Huh." Kila and Kiara stared after Kopa, blinking in surprise.
"'See the way you look at him'?" Chaka suddenly echoed, raising an eyebrow at the younger cub. "Who was he...What did he mean by that?"
Kion's fur heated up in an instant, his eyes widening. "I--Uh--I don't know, really." He fixed his gaze on the ground, running a paw over the grass as he cleared his throat. "Probably nothing. You know. Nothing. Like, nothing important. Y-Ugh. Im rambling. Yep. Yay. Oh my god why cant I shut up. And im still going. God. Kill me now." He groaned, facepawing.
Chaka raised an eyebrow in amusement, while Kiara and Kila exchanged a glance, grinning.

"No, it's a useful subject for a king." Nigel declared from the doorway, Kevin at his side. "If you weren't here, I would be next in line. And I should still be, since you're a little orphan that's younger than me." He sniffed.

"A real Princess like you, Princess Uzuri, would do better to hang out with real royalty." Kevin added snootily.

"Bug off you two." Atazi growled, the hairs on her neck standing up.

You are nothing more than an orphan that was dumped on our doorstep several years ago, and Dad never had to take you in. Mom spoiled you, and Dad only likes you because you're more "mature" and "calm" than us. But guess what, lion?" The tiger got closer to her, growling. "You're nothing more than a worthless orphan pretending to be a princess. So why don't you get out of here and go back home, because you'll never amount to anything."

Atazi glared at Nigel with her claws out. She was holding back tears.

Uzuri didn't know what made her do it, but she got in front of Atazi, hackles raised. while she was small, she puffed out her chest and stared directly into Nigel's eyes "Big words for a lowlife punk like yourself," She snarled "You bring shame to the name of tigers and all large cats."

"Says the Princes Runt." Nigel sneered. "Come on, Kev, i heard the Lion Guard was around. They're cooler than these dorks." They both walked out.

"Hmph," Uzuri smirked, then glanced at Atazi "Watch this." She closed her eyes for a brief moment, then opened them. they went from auburn brown to an ice blue. water from the bowls and glasses in the room began to rise and shot after Nigel and Kevin.

Chaka made his way through the school, ears pricked up. He wound his way around other animals, glancing toward the tigers almost in suspicion. His mind drifted to Kion, and a smile twitched at his lips.

With my heart on a trigger....." He watched for a few moments before turning, scanning the halls for Kion. Probably still outside.

Don't mean I'm not a believer." He bared his teeth at the tiger, but it was somewhat playful. The tiger returned it with a mock growl, turning back to his friends with a lighthearted chuckle. Chaka nodded in approval, turning away.

Yeah, they still say I'm a dreamer." He chuckled to himself, looking around. His eyes locked on a suspicious looking tiger, eyes hardening.

"They say before you start a war,
You better know what you're fighting for.
Well baby, you are all that I adore." He glanced away, making sure Kion wasnt around before he crossed forward.

Chaka doesnt like me like that. Still though, right now he could pretend that he was Chaka's and everything was amazing, like it should be. He didnt care what they were, as long as he knew he had Chaka beside him. And he did. He always would.
Chaka closed his eyes, a warm feeling spreading through him, but he forced himself to remember that Kion meant the words as nothing more than just best friends. Kion doesnt like me like that. But still, that didnt stop Chaka from pretending that Kion was his at that moment. They had eachother, whether they were best friends or not. Chaka didnt care as long as Kion was there with him.

"Those two dorks?" A familiar voice came from the door. It was Cole, Atazi's ex. He was a beautiful white tiger with warm amber eyes and almost blue stipes. He was a tall tiger, built to be a high-class warrior in King Borealis' court.

"Cole!" Atazi's face almost brightened up. "You're here too?"

"Yeah, they have a good athletics program." Cole chuckled, stepping around Bunga and attempting to nuzzle Atazi. Atazi jerked away, and gave him a glare. "What?"

"Don't forget, Cole, we broke up." Atazi said cooly, "I'm glad you're here, but we're just friends."
