Suddenly it flashes by, like a shooting star much brighter than the sun. You are knocked to your feet and coware suddenly. You feel it's Davine presence near you, even the breath of the beast on your shoulders is enough to crush you. It's fabled, it's urban leg and and yet you can hear it's raspy breaths, hear the crunch of the foliage beneath its massive paw. You turn. You see it. Small round galaxy's contained behind optics so glassy it seemed to be thin air. It was so close. It's Maine flowed with the blizzard int winds, like black water washing over a shore. It's fur as dark as the night sky. Paws as big as your face.
Its a lion.
The leader of the fabled creatures beyond the Redwoods. He kept the gateway of magic and creatures man never knew hidden. Safe. His name was unknown so they called him, King. He could take out fleets of men and roar away a storm. Powerful enough to control the Galaxy. Yet it was so close, leaning closer, gentle and calm. Then suddenly you felt others gather near you. Unicorns, dragons, Griffons, shapeshifter's and talking animals. You can't believe your eyes but when you look up, utop the massive head of King lay a crooked and bent crown.
