Would he give me a family? The orphan nodded and took his hand. "W-will you keep me safe?" She asked eyes wide. "Yes, I will do the best I can." He reassured her. "Now, you will need a name won't you?" He said swiftly moving his hand onto her shoulder. "How about, Karma?" He asked softly. The orphan nodded and repeated, "Karma." For the first time ever, she felt safe, like the world was on her side. The man smiled, "Welcome, to your future." He said as she rose into the air, blue smoke surrounding her. She breathed it in and then she fell to the ground. She stool up and put her hand on the wall for standing support. She looked at the wall and jerked away. "Ice?" She said softly.
The man smirked and picked her up. "Yes, you will do perfect."
