Flightless Bird, ThunderClan Mouth [F]

Buckbranch (https://toyhou.se/10617754.buckbranch) has returned to ThunderClan - but with him, so has a sense of hopelessness.

With his reappearance, he loses his friend and his daughter in one fell swoop, one vanishing and the other turning up dead. He's beginning to regret coming back at all, under the belief that these sudden misfortunes is a punishment from StarClan for failing his Clan and then daring to show his face there again. After all, it wasn't as if he'd been supposed to*force*his way out of StarClan... right?

His optimism begins to fail. He starts to blame himself for what's happened and becomes reclusive from the rest of his Clan, burying himself in solo patrols and hunting, believing his presence to be dangerous, closing himself off. With his heart-gripping anxiety resurfacing, he even considers leaving again.

"Have I found you?
Flightless bird, jealous, weeping..."

...That is, until he meets a certain cat. A warrior in ThunderClan, who takes notice of his change in behavior and decides to intervene. At first, he's wary, and tries to avoid growing too close in case some other misfortune happens to occur. But this cat is persistent, dammit, and against his better wishes he finds himself opening up to them, falling a little more in love with them each day.

One way or another, some version of his worst fear comes true. One of them are severely injured near one of the borders during a nightly outing. Whoever it is makes a full and speedy recovery, but ultimately leaves Buckbranch rattled, scared, and clinging to his new companion.

Cue some cuddles?

Long story short, this is yet another finder to at, the very least, attempt to find Buckbranch a love life haha.

This plot could end up spanning out over a couple months and several interactions, so make sure the character you're applying is someone you're going to keep an active interest in! Also keep in mind that while it's preferred this ends in romance, it also may not! Buck will start out with a platonic love of your character and whether it grows into romantic interest entirely depends on how well they click via rp :0

You said that Buckbranch has been dealing through some difficulties at the moment. Shimmertail is your neighborhood Thunderclan counselor. She has a knack for giving advice to others, especially about dealing with depression and anxiety and such (even though she has depression herself). Shimmertail will be able to help Buckbranch with his problems, which seems what you were heading for.

Shimmertail walked through the forest, a friend trailing next to her. Her friend had requested to walk through the forest alone with them and Shimmertail couldn't say no. She was used to this a bit. Usually when she was giving advice to anyone she would do it in the forest, in private, where only the sounds of nature were to be heard. She knew that no one wanted anyone else to hear about their problems except for the person that they seeked out for help. Shimmertail had done this various times, whether in her time in Thunderclan or not. She enjoyed it. It helped her escape from her mental problems for a while. Even though it didn't last, it was a welcomed escape.

Shimmertail sat down near a spot she had found in Thunderclan territory that she liked. It had flowers and you could hear the rich sound of life in green leaf. These days though, everything was calm and quiet. Perfect either way. Shimmertail looked at her friend with welcoming and warm light golden eyes. "So, what is it you want to talk about." She asked in a calm voice.

Age:: 34 (im pretty sure), I know that a little low bu they are warriors so it not as much of a problem at least

Personality::
very much a mess, a very positive and kind (if a bit too stubborn) mess (but still a mess lets not fool ourselves here). She has a lot over energy is since she hasn't fully found her place in the clan yet she tries to do a little of everything and see what works for her. She is good at a lot of things and great at very few and while she usually has decent self-confidence this drives it down quite a bit.

She is also a very affectionate person and very touchy, often poking others when she jokes with them or putting her tail on their back to comfort them. She is also like an emotional sponge (which is partly why she hates seeing other sad).

Why they might connect:: Eagle is very optimistic and (since she just camp back from being missing a while) is deterimated to prove she is loyal. They don't have much to bond over but I figured Eagle would both want to prove she is still loyal to TC (she want missing after the raid) and want to make sure her clan mates are ok and therefore she would do her best to make sure he is a-ok

What? Her green eyes blinked as she look at the hauntingly familiar cat in front of her, perplexed. Because she knew him. didn't she? But.... no.... He was dead..... Killed in battles between Riverclan and Thunderclan... Oh Thunderclan... She hadn't realized how much she missed her home before she finally mustered it up to come to this border.

And now she was dead.

Because I must be, how else would I be able to see him... Oh great job, Eaglesong, either you have gone and accidentally gotten yourself killed without even remembering how or when.

BUT! But, but but!

It is also possible I am just dreaming. Her gaze had floated away slightly but now she looked back at him again. So if Im dreaming... Carefully, without saying a word she lifted up a paw and... poked him on the nose. "You're real." she mewed to herself, still blinking at him slightly confused. "So I am..." her paw slowly turned a little to point at herself "Dead."

A moment to silence as the news truly sunk in. Well, that was fun wasn't it, being dead... and all. Actually she wouldn't really know yet would she, since she couldn't have been dead for more than like a few days right. But shouldn't she have gone to Starclan then? ... or wasn't she allowed there since she left her clan.... "Ecuse me" she mewed to the cat she had just poked. "But do you happened to know how I died"

Why they might connect:: I think Silentclover would see him and think he looked lonely or sad and make a the connection that he and herself are alike. Silentclover is almost always found on her own sitting in the far corner of camp. Her being lonely she'd eventually get up the courage to talk to him and hopefully start a relationship.

Silentclover sat in the far corner of the clearing her black fluffy black tail wrapped around her as she groomed her fur silently. The way she sat made it so the shadows seemed to consume her only leaving a white heart on her chest and vibrant green eyes to be seen. As she groomed herself her ears remained perked and eyes scanning the clearing watching her clanmates go on with their day.

cool cool so im moving as u probably know by now bfjdn but in the next couple of weeks i should be settling in and clearing up my new life haha, ill keep you updated on when i could probably post more frequently but if you want to start something in a private thread i could probably hold tight to it (:
