frogpaw stalked shrewstep, he had been following him for a short while. he wanted to know why he was in the dark forest. last time he said he was visiting a friend, it seemed he was with that friend now. he couldnt make anything out like what they looked like or what they where saying. he went to get closer trying to make something out

Shrewstep hadn't been the most wary upon arriving in the twilight forest, and he had set off without a second thought towards the place he knew he would find Blackhaze. He had a few questions, and a request. Most of the questions revolved around getting annoying cats into rivers. It was the kind of thing he thought about. His voice was still low in register, the softness and peat of the Dark Forest smothering all sounds as he greeted his friend. How are you Blackhaze? Nothing I need to know about? Exis feather lily

Blackhaze chuckled lowly, he was feeling a bit more malicious than usual and was keeping it to himself. “Nothing much, cats are starting to stray away from us. I’ll need your help recruiting more.” Vague. In inspirational. So quiet no one would be able to hear his word unless they were directly in front of him.

It's somewhat understandable. Shrewstep mewed, before adding Although worrying. The business with Windclan is taking a lot of attention in Shadowclan at least. I'm not sure how many of the other clans know about it. It was probably fairly evident from the scent of the peat forests appearing on Windclan land, the other clans must be able to smell that. Leaning forward a bit, this was less small talk than the rest, which wasn't small talk to begin with, he asked Is there anyone you have in mind? A sound. A guttural growl began eminating from his throat. “Who’s here.” He growled turning in the direction. His tail lashed in indignation. How dare a cat try to stalk him.

frogpaw got up and stepped out from the darkness he looked at shrewstep so is this your friend you mentioned? he said almost purring that he had gotten this far he then turned to the cat he didnt know him and looked him up in down. he didnt seem like a cat he could win a fight aginst so he chose to keep it... calm or at least as calm as he could

yes i was following you. i wanted to know who this... friend of yours is. your a cat that would do anything for revenge for beating you even if it was throwing me in a bush. plus we've known each other for a while i can meet your friends cat i he said with a freaky calm voice

How is meeting my friend a good idea if you're my friend? Surely you don't think you can hurt him! The logic of this cat.....it didn't add up at times, and his voice was infuriating. He knew the calm was false, that the little coward was outnumbered, but he didn't want to get into a fight, or at least not drag Blackhaze into one. If you wanted your so called revenge fine! i know my limits i would not win a fight against this cat i did not intend to fight i just wanted to know more about you he then turned to the other cat your right i dont know who you are but i would like to know he said, he could get more on shrewstep this way and use that to his advateg later on. he found his new way of making cats life sad a lot more fun than attacking them

Settling onto his haunches he kept his claws unsheathed, sunk deep into the peat moss. Taking a deep breath he tried to reassure himself it would be fine. His growl was getting louder and his stance lower, almost an attack position. Blackhaze didn't actually do attack positions, hed strike from whatever position he was in, but the harder he hurt this cat the better. "You need only know what I will do to you if you follow my son, here again, pipsqueak."His tail lashed harshly at his own words, he was riling himself up even more.

Shrewstep had not been expecting how aggressive Blackhaze would become, although Hairball did tend to have that effect on cats, making them want to throttle him and then feed him to the foxes. He took a step forward to back up Blackhaze, unsheathing his claws in and out of the moss. You know enough as it is. I have a friend in the Dark Forest. What else must you know? Shrewstep hissed, his own tail lashing though his eyes were shining. His friends words, as if the younger tom was his son, had woken something in him that had been there for a long time. Blackhaze growled a bit flexing his claws, “Perhaps you’d like to see where he learned to fight.” It was more of a statement then a question. He growled louder, turning into a low yowl and he sprang forward, intending on grabbing the smaller cat by the scruff and flinging him to his right.

well then has he told you about when i beat him? or when we tied more than once he purred happily thinking back on all there fights. he then moved out of the way but not before being grabbed though and he was flung him to the right. he got off and shook off leaping forward aiming for the back with a hiss
