Ok so I haven't read all the books so be warned but

Hollyleaf killed Ashfur for the code. . . but why!!! what's the worst that could happen? Being kicked out of the clan? Firestar wouldn't do that! he's let in loads of cross clan cats, outsiders, rouges, tribe cats. Lots. Daisy, Cloudtail, Millie, Himself, Stormfur, and Brook are just a few! Even if she was scared of being kicked out after she killed Ashfur she Ran Away!! any thoughts?

I think Hollyleaf at the time was scared of her reputation being ruined, and also, she was kind of extremnist towards following the code. There also is the fact that, if I remember correctly, the Erins said that he would've kicked out Leafpool for having half clan kits as a medicine cat if it weren't for the timing Hollyleaf revealed the secret. Don't quote me on the last one though.
