Spotkit was born in Riverclan. His mother, shortly after he was born, ran away to be with a nomadic kittypet family. She claimed that while she loved her son, she wanted him to remain in the clans. At this point, Spotkit wasn't aware of his origins, and beyond his odd patterned coat, was as average of a clan member you could ask for.
