In my opinion it was longtail. In book 1 he was like "Ahhh fireboi is a kittypet! He sucks!"But then later on he's like "oh its Firestar.Whats up man."
What about everyone else?

Sandstorm and Longtail did grow but I kinda feel like it was just
“Oh I hate you so much” then poof “Oh hey Firestar I’m so loyal to you”

I keep thinking of characters who grow and then just become entirely bland when the series isn't focused on them anymore ):

I liked Tigerheart, but he became Basic Stern Dad Leaderguy.
I liked Jayfeather but he became Basic Kindhearted Grouch.
I suppose I really enjoy Crowfeather. He was a touchy, but good punk as a kid who fell in love and took that burden home with him. And then he met Leaf, and they shared some time together. Heartbreak and reality hit and he became an ass, but you see in his edition that he's still trying hard and struggling, like any normal person would. He has to see his son in a good light when he never wanted a family in WC, and in the end he finally somewhat does. He had a lot happen to him in life and it broke his heart I think, but he built himself up on his own again when no one else knew how.

Now that you say that, Crowfeather is underrated. He had a pretty hard life, and had to live it with not much enjoyment.

Ngl, they didn't really grow at all, lmao.

Like, I loved Twigbranch, but she got so side-characted I couldn't even deal with it. Plus, her name was super lame - who wants to be named Twigbranch? Amirite?

I think the one who really grew was Rootspring, he started out really scared and obsessed nervous, but then he totally developed.

Pfpfpf

they could've made it twigheart, twigsky, twigsong, twigfire, twigspark. anything would've been better than that, honestly. he used to be so wimpy, now he's like.. cool.

True, her name is pretty lame. I mean, they’re basically the same thing. A twig is just a smaller branch.
