Shrew led her Packmates to the river. "Wait!" Everybody stopped. "What?" A young wolf name Pine said. "Why do we stop if there's nothin-" He was hushed by his trainer, Jay. A growling started behind them. They all turned around. It was a wolf. "Everybody, stay put!" Shrew called. The other wolf launched at them. "Your pack is nothing but a discrase!" It yowled. Shrew let out a hiss. "WOLVES! ATTACK! Pine, you stay out of this." Pine let out a growl. She didn't have time to deal with bratty juniors. They attacked, and the rest of the attackers pack came. "Pine! Go run for help, Jay you go with him," Jay nodded and ran. She heard a yip of pain. Honey was down! Without her beta, she couldn't fight any longer. "Wolves! Retreat!" Shrew yelled.
