I mean I liked Brambleclaw but only the claw - when he turned to a leader.. Well I hated him, but I mean he’s not %100 GoldenFlower he has to at least be like %40 Tigerstar! He can’t be a copy of GoldenFlower! I’m only defending him because I liked him for a little while, independent Squirrelflight is the best choice!

I don't really like Bramblestar, but Squirrelflight and Ashfur wouldn't be a good couple. For many different reasons. If he was willing to kill her father and her 'Kits', what would he do with their relationship? He would end up being way too controlling and when you say that he would do anything for squirrelflight he would take it way to far.

ashfur tried to murder the children he thought were hers to get back at her for choosing someone else over him. he comes off as controlling and obsessive and squirrelflight would've had literally no breathing room had she decided to pursue that relationship. it might be nice that he'd go to great lengths for her but you have to know where to tow the line and that relationship would've been extremely unhealthy for the both of them -- i understand where you're coming from but maybe i just dont get it aha

but like i seriously don't get it though- what is so good about squirrel x ashfur? like ashfur is alright as a character but i can't envision them together, seeing as he was willing to completely ruin squirrel's life when she didn't like him back; killing her adoptive kids, spilling her secret at a gathering, etc.

I guess I should emphasize that I specifically ship pre-Po3 Ashfur (nice ashfur) with Squirrelflight, instead of mean Ashfur.

Literally all Squirrelflight ships are bad. AshSquirrel and BrambleSquirrel for obvious reasons. StormSquirrel was feeble, one-sided and pointless. ShrewSquirrel...Shrewpaw is hardly a character. I didn't even know they were actually friends or had any type of relationship until that one throwaway line. Then he died. She's better off single. Like not every protag needs a mate or a love interest.

whoops before i shipped Bramble x Squirrel but now i think she's just better off being an independent woman cause Bramble is just a big meanie now >: ( . And i gotta agree with hope on this one, not saying its bad to have your own ship. thats your own opinion. But trying to kill her kits after finding out she doesn't have the feels for you is just wrong. So the only thing i have to say to Ash x Squirrel shippers is... But y tho
