An Artic Thorn

[Confuzzled.Lynx]

This is set at Moonhigh by the border of ShadowClan and WindClan border.

Thornpaw walked by the border, happy to be out of camp. She had a few scratches still stained with dry blood from her training at the Dark Forest. The molly's copper eyes were trained on the ground as she thought about everything in her horrible life. All her regrets. The terrible scene she had witnessed early on in er apprenticeship. She sighed, feeling lonely as ever even though she had 3 friends. She wasn't paying attention to her surrounding like usual as she slowly padded by the border, lost in her thoughts.

Artic stepped out of her hiding place when she smelt Shadowclan. "And what are you doing kittypet?" She hissed. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw spun around, catching sight of a strange molly. She quickly shoved her thoughts away, claws unsheathing. "I'm not a kittypet" she growled. She was already starting to hate this cat. The golden-brown mackerel let out a soft hiss, annoyed. "What are you doing here? This is ShadowClan territory!" she growled.

Artic smirked. "Oh are you mad I crossed a tiny border." She said. Lynxpaw

A small hiss escaped the molly as she glared at the cat before her. "You have no right to be here" she told them, trying to sound calm but her copper eyes gave everything away. They were filled with annoyance and anger. Thornpaw waited for their response, waiting for them to leave.

Artic laughed and stepped forward. She began to circle Thornpaw. "You know what? I don't feel like leaving." Lynxpaw

A growl started to escape her as she watched the molly circle her. Thornpaw lunged for the cat, aiming to get on their back. Her claws were outstretched to land on the cat and scratch them.

Artic felt weight on her back and claws scratching her. The white molly flung herself to the ground and rolled. Lynxpaw

[Confuzzled.Lynx]

Thornpaw jumped off and turned to face the vulnerable cat, quickly darting in to aim a few blows and then darting out. She hoped they had done some damage to the snow white molly.

Artic growled and rolled to her feet. "You'll pay." She hissed clawing at Thormpaws head. Lynxpaw

The tabby ducked but not fast enough. She felt the molly's claws tear at ears. She let out a quick hiss, darting away from the cat and then charging at them. Thornpaw quickly leaped over the stranger and turned, landing facing towards the cats flank. The apprentice then aimed a couple of blows, hoping they had landed and moved out of reach.

Artic saw and felt it happen. Then closed her eyes and whirled on the apprentice and charged her head low. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw quickly sidestepped, purring with triumph. The tabby faced the cat, waiting for them to make a move. This was too easy. She would show this cat out and then sneak back into camp. Blachaze would never notice she had left the camp in the middle of the night anyway.

Artic opened her eyes. Perfect. She thought. The white molly whirled around and pushed off leaping over Thornpaw. Artic turned and clawed at Thornpaws flanks. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw stayed silent, not letting the cat know she was in pain. She felt claws rip into her flesh and she turned, quickly aiming a few blows at the she-cat. She just hoped Blackhaze didn't find her fighting a cat and not winning. She just hoped he wouldn't find her on her way back.

A blow caught Artic in the muzzle and she hissed. She aimed a few blows at Thornpaws face. Lynxpaw

[Confuzzled.Lynx]

Thornpaw turned too slowly and felt claws rake her muzzle. She let out a small whimper before lunging for the molly's leg and trying to bite down.

Artic hissed as Thornpaw bit her leg. She snapped at Thornpaw aiming to grab the back.of her neck. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw quickly let go of her grip and darted out of reach. She waited for the cat to make their move.

Artic turned following the other cats movements. When Thornpaw stopped Artic rushed her close to the ground. Coming close she lashed out with a paw aiming for Thornpaws hind legs in order to trip her. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw hissed is frustration as she had to dart away from the cat. The molly quickly charged in again, aiming a couple blows at the cat's head before running out of reach.

Artic felt a blow hit her ear and tear it. Hissing she drew back trying to draw the other cat into attacking. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw narrowed her eyes and darted in, aiming to ram into the molly.

Artic jumped straight up aiming to land on Thornpaws back. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw crashed to the ground as she felt the molly land on her back. She hissed in pain as she struggled to get up, trying and trying.

Artic took her advantage and tried to squish the smaller cat. Lynxpaw (Artic you've been squished to many times)

Thornpaw tried to bite down on the cat, hoping they would get distracted. She felt oxygen flow out of her lungs as she was squished under the adult molly.

( Let me know when her friend comes to find them fighting. Maybe later when she's more hurt )

Artic ignored the pain on her leg. She snapped at the smaller molly. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw's ears were flattened against her head as she bite down harder, her teeth meeting flesh.

Artic bit down on Thornpaws ear. She was finding it harder and harder to ignore the pain. Lynxpaw

The apprentice bit down harder, knowing the molly would let go soon. She felt pain shoot through her as the cat bit down on her ear, the teeth piercing the flesh. She was sure to lose another chunk of her ear but that was okay.

Finally Artic jumped backwards hissing. The molly lashed out a couple of times before jumping out of the way. Lynxpaw

Thornpaw felt claws rake down her flank as she got up and quickly turned. She was bleeding by her left ear, the ridge of her nose, her back and her flanks. She hissed at the molly, eyes burning with rage and frustration.

(Should Mentallyunstable's Blackhaze find them fighting now? Or find Artic attacking Thorn's front leg or neck?)
