There were once four rouges- Dawn, Sage, Curse, Spell- who decided to claim the territory around them and form a clan. They knew of some traditions from faraway clans, and worshiped the stars like them, so they added the Star suffix to each of their names. All of them were united for a short period while they looked for new cats to join, but it didn't take long before they started to argue about how the leadership should be handled. In the end they split into two groups, and each formed a clan which would get half of the land to their own.
Dawnstar and Sagestar took one part, believing that teaching skill, resourcefulness and kindness were the most important parts of leading a clan. They named their clan Flameclan. On the other side were Cursestar and Spellstar, who believed that strength, trust, and hostility when neccessary were more important. They were called Sparkclan.

♦✦✦- Territory/Camp
Flameclan and Sparkclan live in a place far from Twolegs. There's woodland full of redwoods on one half of the two clans territory, and a rough mountain covering much of the other half. A river rushes through the two parts of the land, dividing them. If you follow the river, you are led to a clearing with a lake and an open sky where the stars can be seen clearly at night. The river and the lake are shared territory and the clans meet at the lake for gatherings.

The harsh and aggressive Sparkclan lives in the rocky mountainous region, where they defend their territory fiercely from predators and outsiders. They make their camp in a flat spot near the base of the mountain with trees nearby. They live in unity with their clanmates, trusting and helping each other but never any rouges or loners.

Flameclan lives in the forest, once full of green plants no matter where you looked, but a forest fire burned down a portion of the land. It cleared out the trees and that became their camp. Warriors of Flameclan skillfully climb trees and hunt from streams and the river that runs through the territory. They've learned to use the terrain to their advantage when fighting enemies. They're accepting to any cat as long as they believe they are loyal.

(Alright. I'll start with Dawnstar (a Flameclan leader) finding you and later you can split them up.)
Dawnstar got out of her den after a nap and stretched. As her clan was new, it didn't have many members nor responsibilities yet. She wanted to change that; on her travels as a rogue, she had heard about the Lake Clans and was hoping to form a clan kind of like theirs. To do that it needed more members.
I'll go hunting, she decided. I'm sure there are rogues who will join the clans; if I run across one, I can see if they want to join. She padded into the redwood forest to hunt.

[Shadow]

Cursestar went out to hunt.She got bored in her clan and went to see if any rouges wanted to join.

Jinxpaw was in camp bored

Sagestar emerged from the other leader's den, her incredibly pale Calico pelt well-groomed and neat. She watched the clan, even though members were scarce. 'I hope Sparkclan is having the luck we are, who knows if a battle will come...' she thought. She trotted into the clearing, the sun sparkling rays on to her pelt. 'Dawnstar is probably seeing if any rouges are here.' She thought. The other she-cat usually and hopefully checked to see if any new additions were to join. Letting out a sigh, she scanned the clearing for a cat to join a hunting patrol along with herself.

After catching a mouse or two, the tortiseshell she-cat overheard the two toms playing. She followed the scent trail to find herself at the border river. She climbed a tree near the edge of the shade of the redwood trees, and watched the two rogues. Suddenly she saw Cursestar sneaking up on the two clueless cats, and stifled a purr.

"But they... died moons ago..." she thought. They used to be good friends of hers back when she lived near the lake clans. She moved on to new territory nearby after a while, but soon after she left news spread that they were dead. She wasn't aware they had kits. How did they get here, anyway?

Sagestar had a strange feeling trickling through her thoughts that something was happening at the border with Dawnstar. She told the deputy they were in charge until she got back, and raced through the burnt red-wood trees, and skidded to a halt. She let out a gasp as the toms spoke the words, as the three she-cats there had known them.
