Definitely Hawkfrost, not necessarily because he killed a lot when he was alive, but he trained a lot of living warriors to kill also his dad is evil and he ruined his sister and mother’s life lol

Hmm, I don’t really have a favorite yet because they all bias wrecking me. I thinking between Hawkfrost, Tigerclaw, Mapleshade, Clear Sky, and many others.
The cat who did a lot of damage would probably some of the cats who are in the Dark Forest like Tigerclaw, Brokenstar, and Mapleshade.

Well Mapleshade had a good reason to be bad, Ashfur's only crime was loving way too much, Hawkfrost and Tigerclaw. They don't have reasons. And Scrouge wanted revenge on Tigerpaw/claw/star. Mudclaw was pretty upset, Brambleclaw got his paws back on the right path.

Well, i knw this isn't exactly what you meant but Mapleshade's novella is so sad. I literally cried and now I don't know how she couldn't be evil after that.
So it's not Mapleshade, everyone, it's Appledusk.
He did that to her.
If you say Mapleshade is bad then >:l

I have to disagree with those saying Mapleshade had a good reason to be bad..
Sure, her kits drowned. That's pretty tragic by itself and honestly, I wouldn't have minded if she only targeted Appledusk-- the tom that cheated on her and abandoned her when she needed him most.
But.. what she did to ThunderClan..? She murdered a medicine cat and a warrior in cold blood. She lied to ThunderClan by letting them believe Birchface was the father of her kits (yes, she DID indeed lie by with-holding information. she could have at least denied birchface was their father but refuse to say more), she broke the warrior code by taking a mate outsider her Clan, and the main issue with her breaking that code is she was mates with the cat who was like, public enemy #1 in ThunderClan. Of course they're going to be hurt, they're going to feel betrayed and they're going to want to get rid of the cat who wronged them.
Ravenwing did what he believed was right: when he found out the paternity was Appledusk, he informed Oakstar. Oakstar and Frecklewish were Birchface's kin: they believed these kits were their family, and that was robbed from them.. there's probably no way to adequately describe how they were feeling. The living connection they thought they still had to their lost loved one never existed. The kits they thought were family belonged to the tom they believed took their loved one away (since Appledusk denied killing Birchface to Mapleshade.)
It's unfortunate the kits had to be in the middle of their pain and grief, but the cat truly at fault with this is Mapleshade. She took a risk with a forbidden relationship and not only did it bite her, but it hurt a lot of other cats because she couldn't at least be somewhat honest with her Clan-mates.

Follow-up to my post..
The Erins definitely did cats with mental illnesses a disservice, especially with Mapleshade.
She was sick and that is a reason for some of her behavior, but that doesn't excuse her actions or justify all the damage she did to others.
She's not a cat that should be victimize.

Contains Minor Spoilers For Dawn Of The Clans, Continue At Your Own Discretion
I'd have to say Clear Sky is one of my favorite antagonists. Not really a villain in my eyes - sure he was an asshole and he definitely deserved quite a few good smacks over the head - but I never saw him as a true, Tigerstar-esque or Slash-like villain, so he'll always remain as a simple antagonist.
It's been several months since I've taken some time to read the Dawn of the Clans saga, possibly even over a year(?), but I still remember really enjoying Clear Sky's dynamic with both his son and his brothers.
From what I can remember, the first book in the series really focused on showcasing his close bond with Grey Wing and Jagged Peak. After Bright Stream's death, however, it was clear that Clear Sky began to blame Grey Wing for not saving her from the hawks and that bond slowly began to fade.
I loved watching this development happen between he and Grey Wing. Something about watching the close connection between two characters - especially when that connection is between brothers - shatter in such a short amount of time is absolutely fascinating. When Clear Sky turns his anger on Jagged Peak, though, is where things really start to take a turn for him and really transform him into the antagonist he was.
His relationship with his son was my favorite, though, I think. For the majority of the series it was always strained and tense no matter the situation. Stealing Thunder's crush as his own mate was kind of like the cherry on top (and honestly kind of creepy imo because I think Star Flower was significantly younger than he was if i'm remembering correctly???)
I think after all of this, though, his story really wraps up nicely, which makes him one of my favorite antagonists. Although he doesn't necessarily totally patch things up between himself and Thunder, the two come to eventually have a mutual respect for one another. He and Grey Wing seemed to arrive back on good terms after a while and I think he earned the respect of the other groups toward the end of the last book if I remember right. It just seemed like his story had a satisfying end unlike most other antagonists and villains from the rest of the series(looking at you, Tigerstar), which really sets him apart from the others.
as stated above i hardly remember any details from DOTC so a lot of the info presented is probably wrong LMAO

My favorite villain is definitely Hawkfrost. Read at your own risk:
I mean, in my opinion, he wasn't EVIL when he was alive. Yes, he trained with Tigerstar. But so did Bramblestar. Can you call him evil too? Nope. Too many fangirls around here. He tried to kill Firestar. Key word here: TRIED. FAILED. TOOK 1/9 LIVES. In the Dark Forest, he was evil. He tried to convince Jayfeather to train with them as an apprentice. He and Tigerstar trained Lionblaze. He trained Ivypool as well as Blossomfall, and Breezepelt. Idk why, but I think he made an awesome villain.

I really like just the smaller side characters who are little turds. Like Berrynose, Bumblestripe, Spiderleg. Because I like how they have characters that aren't necessary evil, just crappy people.
