How often are the colors of a cats eyes mistaken? I know Dovewing is a prime example, but while reading The New Prophecy: Sunset I noticed on pages 45-46 that Leafpool said Crowfeather’s eyes were Amber

Warriors tends to have a lot of inconsistencies and typos littered in their books. It's one of the downsides of having two different authors and such a big cast of characters to keep track of. I read the books when I was 8/9/10 in 3rd and 4th grade and 7 years later revisited them for fun. Ultimately I stayed for nostalgia, not sophisticated writing. Still nostalgia gets it points :). lol, we all liked gore as kids didn't we?
If my dad knew cats had their throats slashed constantly he wouldn't let me read them in kindergarten.

I like to believe that Warriors is a YA series written for children.
The inconsistencies are to be expected, they're written to be released quickly not to be particularly amazing. They write things that you probably don't want your children to read but in such a simple way that anyone older would consider it childish. I prefer to enjoy the idea of Warriors then read the books nowadays, though I do want to catch up just to understand conversations and such.

That’s there entire team. They collectively make up Erin Hunter. But only two of them are writers. If u look at the beginning of each book at the dedication page it tells you who was the primary author. It alternates always between Cary and Baldry. The others are their editors. A lot obviously goes into making such a large series!
