my mentions just sorta break sometimes and idk why?

sometimes I'll mention someone properly, with the [MENTION] tags and their username, and sometimes it'll work! and sometimes it'll do this instead:
@ lykolove!; and it won't mention them?

it usually happens when I'm mentioning more than one person in a post. i put them in separate tags, but sometimes it just doesn't work and I don't know why?

I recommend never using the tags just for the sake of avoiding any complications with those. Use @{username} (And only their username, don't add punctuation of any sort)

No space between @ and the username, and no other BBcode on that line. You might think there's no extra BBCode there, but if you've told the site how to format your posts (e.g. using a certain font), it'll insert some. So you'll have to edit it and make sure the BBCode is on its own line.
