Hey everyone!!
Christmas is right around the corner and it's time for our annual Christmas event -- Secret Santa!
This will be the fifth annual, site-wide Secret Santa Event and the staff are excited to make this year's event as good as last year's,
if not better!
For those who are unfamiliar with what this event is,
or how it'll work, keep reading and find out below!

Secret Santa is that time of year to throw on your masks and santa hats, and join in on the wonderful (and anonymous!) exchange of gifts!
A participant will be the 'Secret Santa' to another participant and give them a gift,
while also receiving a gift from another member.

On December 4th, the event will officially begin and everyone is welcome to sign up.
To sign up, post below with something as simple as "sign me up!"
and you will be added to the participant list below.
Sign ups are gonna kick the festivities off and they will last until December 10th at 11pm EST.
At this point, one of the staff members will contact each member that signed up to confirm their participation*.
*This is a two way street! The staff will need a reply to this message no later than 1 AM EST December 15th
or your name will be removed from the participation list.
Once all participants have been confirmed,
the staff will message you the name of the member you will be creating a gift for (you’ll be their Secret Santa!) on December 15th.
It’s important to NOT tell this member that you are the mastermind behind their gift - the key to Secret Santa is, of course, to keep it SECRET!
This is where your creativity kicks in: anything from literature to drawings, music melodies to adoptables, or even wished for items from the Kitty Koins bank, they are all eligible to be given as gifts!
Add a bit of sparkle and a dash of holiday spirit into your gift and make it extra special - your giftee will surely appreciate it!
In the midst of all this creativity, please be sure that your gift remains in line with the site rules (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10&postcount=1);
therefor, we urge you to utilize good judgement with your creativity!
While you’re busy making a holiday surprise for your lucky pick,
your very own Secret Santa will be checking yours twice to make sure it’s good and ready to be delivered at the end of the event.

As your gift making concludes, please be sure to private message your gift to Sandy Claws (http://www.warriorcatsonline.com/forums/member.php?u=318) before 11:59 PM EST on December 27th; they’ll keep them in a secret room with all the other presents!
Oh no! But what if you aren’t able to submit your gift before the deadline?
This is where our backups come into play; they’ll quickly create a gift to remedy the situation.
Unfortunately, this means you will not be receiving a participation award,
and Sandy Claws won’t deliver the gift your own Secret Santa made.
He will be sure to message your Secret Santa that you’ve made the naughty list,
and it will be up to them whether or not they still wish to personally gift your item.
At last, the time has arrived! On December 30th, all Secret Santa gifts will be passed out and the event will end in a grand flourish!
All members who completed the exchange will be awarded for their participation.
Please note: If you are up to the task of lending a helping holiday hand and
using your executive creative talent and ability to craft together excellent gifts at the drop of a hat
(in other words, able to assist as a backup),
be sure to put an asterisk (*) in your sign-up post!
You will still participate in the normal event, but we may call upon you to create an extra gift with only a few days before the event ends.
On behalf of the entire staff, we are greatly appreciative of this,
and you will be given a special award if you are selected to complete an additional gift!
