The dark colored tomcat didn’t have a hard time finding a spot to meet with the other anti-war members of his clan. Thunderclan was full of small nooks and crannies, and Flintspirit felt like he knew every single one of them. But they still had to be careful. While he felt bad going behind Passionstar’s back, so soon after his promotion, he felt as if right now, it was a time for his heart to take over his loyalty. Even though he knew the risks, he’d talked with Buttercupbreeze and Rowanflower about their demotions, he was going to go through with this. The safety of all the clans counted on it.
The gathering was coming closer as well, and Flintspirit wanted to be able to report peacemaker success to the former deputies. He was the link for them right now. Most of them were clan-bound, and I trusted by their leaders. He was still free to do as he pleased, and he knew Passionstar trusted him. And that’s what made his decision the hardest. Passionstar trusted him more than any cat ever had, and he would feel horrible about betraying the regal ginger tom. He had just started to let himself get to know Passionstar, and he didn’t want to hurt him. But he also knew that, if Passionstar gave him a chance to explain, his leader would understand. He was just as much against this war as Flintpsirit was.
Sitting down, the deputy awaited for the cats hes spoken with to filter in. He had a few in mind that he wanted to discuss further with. He felt comforted knowing his apprentice was going to be there, and that she supported him. Blinking his green eyes, he peeked his ears and continued to wait.

Simplefeather arrived at their secret meeting section with her tail flapping around wildly. The warrior placed it back at her side once she got there. "Hello Flintspirit." Simplefeather made herself go into a bowing-position for a couple of seconds to respect her new deputy, then got back up. She looked around to see if any other cat had arrived yet, soon realizing that she was the first. Simplefeather rested her paws down on the floor. It'd taken some effort for her to get there, since she'd been some distance away. However, even while relaxed in a sitting position, Simplefeather felt restless and wanted to get up. The warrior self-consciously got back on her paws and shook her fur to get all of the leaves off. Some fell onto her left front paw and she had to shake it, too, to get them off. Her ear twitched uncomfortably.
The she-cat looked at her deputy with a serious expression. "Do you think the others are going to show up?" She inquired, walking closer to her deputy. It comforted her to know she was in safe paws, with ThunderClan's second most trusted cat. The leader was the most trusted, she assumed, in the Clan's hierarchy, though she didn't think Passionstar fully understood the benefits of peace between the clans. The female's tail flickered around, just like it had been before she'd turned up, and this time Simplefeather let it continue. She pawed at the silver and dark gray fur on her right back leg, trying to get an itch but still staring at the deputy intently. Simplefeather didn't want to seem disrespectful but it was considerably hard to do when she had an itch irritating her immensely. The warrior grinned at Flintspirit light-heartedly and then sat down. She had to hold down the urge to scratch the itchy-spot.
Simplefeather looked at Flintspirit with a look of curiosity. She was glad the Clan had him as a deputy, as he seemed pretty nice, but she worried for Passionstar. One deputy had already betrayed him, and yet here they were doing it again. Technically, though, it was his fault.. right? He wasn't letting them make peace with the other clans, even though it was the safest and best route to take. Simplefeather, Flintspirit, and the others were only doing what they thought was best for everyone. Why should they be punished?
That was the only question that lurked in her head day and night. Why should cats be punished for wanting peace? Simplefeather knew that they were going behind their leader's back, and that was punishable, but they had good reason that Passionstar just wouldn't listen to.

The brown molly stumbled into the clearing. As she skidded to a halt the blur of brown and green smoothed out into actual trees. She felt the dust fly up around her feet this would be a good place to nap. she thought smiling. she could smell Flintspirit and another molly that she couldn't remember the name of. "Flintspirit?" She said looking at the fluffy tom, the molly looked at the other cat in the clearing she knew her by the name of Simplefeather, she gave a quick nod to her . Flintspirit had invited her to come her but she assumed it was just a chat! She didn't know.
She thought about all that had been happening for her recently her apprentice the war... The war! That's what this was all about it finally clicked in. She pulled her head up and looked at the molly and tom before her, her amber orbs reflected the green and brown trees that surrounded the clearing. The she-cat took another step forward upon knowing that this was about the war. She knew that Passionstar would be at their throats if they were to be caught! But she did not believe in it and she would do what it takes. "This is about the war.. isn't it?" She said looking up at him.
She flicked her feathery tail swishing up the dust around her. So this wasn't a secret loveresk meeting. that is really Fuzzrush's train of thought I mean she would have declined anything but she would have at least gone... But! It wasn't about that.
