First Arc Families

It's no secret that the families in the first arc are kinda confusing(especially all the fatherless kits) but I've got some questions for you all.

I'm working on a MAP about Brightheart and Cinderpelt, who are sisters but it's confusing, and...

1.) I'm wondering who you guys think their father is, or, if you don't believe anyone in the clan is their father, what would their father have looked like?

2.) Do any of you remember Thornclaw's eye color being mentioned in the books? I can't find it anywhere and art seems to vary.

3.) Cinderpelt and Brightheart, as a recall, were both mentioned to be kits at the same time but were apprenticed at different times, am I remembering this wrong? Did you guys even know they were sisters?

We can talk about other confusing families in this thread too, if you guys want.

1: From what I've found, they both share the same father. Lionheart.

2: I can't find much, but I found something on the wiki that says green.

3: I haven't read the books in awhile so I can't quite remember why/if that was true oof. Also I legit forgot they were sisters tbh.

I've seen that too, Pretty sure it was Vicky who said she liked the idea of Lionheart fathering them, but Kate has said she believes their father is Whitestorm.

Just a theory but what if Lionheart and Whitestorm were both their fathers, it happens irl all the time with cats were had the litter is from one tom and half from another.
And I also forgot they were siblings till recently.

Also, just read that Cinderpelt and Brackenfur were apprenticed before they were six moons old, so maybe Brightheart and Cinder were littermates, but she and Bracken were stronger and got apprenticed early because of that, while Bright and Thorn stayed with their mother a little longer.

personally I think Thorn/Bright were Whitestorms and Cinder/Bracken were Lionhearts. The genetics dont really match up since Frostfur was white but yknow this is Warriors so

I reckon Bright, Bracken, Cinder and Thorn we’re in the same litter (fathered by Lionheart), but Cinder and Bracken were apprenticed early because Bluestar wanted Fireheart and Greystripe to have apprentices. That’s just my theory, though, and I could be wrong.

You'd be exactly right. Let me go back to the citation I found from Fire & Ice specifically.

Bluestar: "...we need to start training more warriors. Fireheart and Graystripe, Frostfur tells me two of her kits are almost ready to begin their training. I want each of you to take a kit as your apprentice."

In the books, I have seen the following colors; blue, amber, green. ( it's a Dovewing's eye color problem)

Yet most people depict him with amber eyes, though I like the idea of a tough guy like him having pretty blue eyes.

So, in conclusion? It's a big guessing game, and though people may get upset about it-
His eye color is what ever YOU think it is- That's creative freedom.
