Why can’t we all just be the same?

(Really sorry, but I might take a break with Roleplaying in places other than the traditional WCs Roleplays. Again, I’m sorry, but I’m not the best roleplaying people and it’s not that fun for me. Heck, I don’t even know why I created this Roleplay. I’ll still accept forms, of course, and maybe reply now and then.)

In this world, everyone has a ‘god.’ They are assigned by birth who it will be. The gods here are animals, and they vist you once in your life-usually when your around the age of 9, and bestows you a gift. The more powerful your god is, the less limits the wish has. But the more of a price is payed. How powerful your god is depends on how much it’s worshipped. For instance, something like a tiger or wolf will be more powerful than a chicken or rat. But now, less and less people are being born with gods. Then, two of four horrid beasts, the most powerful gods ever, are leading them. They are killing others to take their gods, known as animas, and pass them on the the people lacking one. (If you read this, put the first and last letter of your username in the other section of the form) No one is safe, and the other two horid beats have not been brought forth... until now.

I would advice reading the first paragraph, because that’s the baseline of the Roleplay. The four horid beasts are the Red Phoenix, the Black Turtle, the White Tiger, and the Blue Dragon. The other most powerful gods are the ones of the Chinese Zodiac, though there strength varies depending on the animal. So, ya. I’m terrible at making Roleplays/intro and all of them die off (mostly cause I make one right before I go on vacation) so let’s see how this goes

Her tail drooped slightly as she checked the time on the watch. 8:21. It started at 8:35. She still had a chance to get there, right? All she knew about the place was that there were cherry blossoms around it. Yet, almost everywhere here had some. Letting out another sigh, she continued on her way. A few minutes past, and her eyes lit up. Someone wearing a uniform, like her own, was walking on the sidewalk. She hurried over to them. “Hi- erm, do you know where the school is?” She said awkwardly.

Skylar walked slowly along the sidewalk. It was the first day of school after the summer break, and frankly, she wasn't looking forward to it. She allowed her gaze to wander from place to place as her mind drifted. She noticed her Animus in a patch of trees, only visible by its glowing eyes showing in a bush. "Go away, and stop nagging me. I don't have a wish to make yet." She talked quietly to it, before continuing on attempting to ignore it.
She pushed the thought of her wish out of her head, and checked the time on her phone. "Ugh 8:21... I'm probably gonna be late." She mumbled to herself in an annoyed tone. Just after she had checked her phone, she noticed someone had approached her. "Oh, are you new?" She questioned with a gentle tone. "Yeah I know the way to school, just follow me." She spoke with a friendly smile, her voice nonchalant.

spiral sighed, why was she even going to the school? her anima was a lizard and all she knew, it was just going to make her life harder. she walked out of her house, not exactly wanting to be late. a lizard was on her arm, glaring at her with its beady eyes. "you should wish for something like a tail. " it squeaked, spiral jump. "gah! ugh, don't scare me. the only wish i want is for animas to be gone but that ain't gonna happen, is it?" spiral sighed. she was now walking to the school but she didn't care if she was late or not. "why?" the lizard asked, not understanding why in the world they would want animas to be gone. "it brings too much harm. no one is equal and never will be. " spiral shook her arm and then the lizard disappeared. finally she was at the school's entrance. she gazed up, feeling fear tingle at the tips of her fingers.

Animas Appearance: [Pheonix] Aaron's anima is a large red pheonix, that appears in a constant state of being on fire. [Cardinal] Whenever Aaron doesn't wish to show his true anima, it appears as a small red cardinal.
Wish: To have immense power. This allows him to have more natural abilties that come with his anima than most, and he's generally faster, stronger, has more endurance, and can take more hits than most.
Price payed: He can never kill, or collect someones anima. He can come very close to killing someone, but can never deliver the finishing blow. He also can't collect anyones anima without someone else handling it for him, as whenever he attempts to, he feels immense pain. (Is this okay?)

Hei sighed she was sitting on a fence swinging her legs she remembered when her god showed itself to her it wasn't shocking she likes no loved black cats and cats in general she just didn't like others saying things like " how dare a cat talk to me!? " or something else like that . She nodded her head to the beat of a song that she was listening to " here we go again I kinda wanna be more then friends so take it easy on me I'm afraid your never satisfied . Here we go again sick like animals we play pretend your just a cannibal and I'm afraid I won't get out alive ...no I won't sleep tonight " she sang not caring how terrible it may be . She liked her gift but the frustrating part is that people would mess with her because of it like say they have a laser pointer and they laugh at her for chasing at it that was her price . Her price was loosing half of her humanity and she would literally act like a cat at times . Her lilac eyes glowed softly as she looked around the neighbor hood feeling quite alone but to her she didn't mind being alone but luckily she could always use her anima and she will have a black cat at her side so she wasn't totally alone . " woah oh I want some more woah oh what are you waiting for? Take a bite of my heart tonight " she sang/yelled into the air that was one of things she enjoyed about being alone she could do what ever she wanted .

Hei paused her iPod and looked at spiral she wasn't used to many people asking her what she was doing or just plain talking in general but she will communicate to others if she wants to and if they talk to her since she wasn't a rude person " because I like the song ...And I don't know any one here really so I don't care what they think " she said softly and quietly she was a soft talker and a mumbler . She looked back at the direction spiral came from then back at her " names hei. Hei belladonna " she said . She was happy that spiral knew the song since it made her angry that others didn't which was pointless but they should have at least heard of some songs once in their life .but she was also confused why was she talking to her? Skylar laughed slightly seeing her tail wagging in such a happy manner. "It's no problem." She began to walk, but noticed the girl had fallen behind, and looked back to see why. "Oh, that..." She said with an exasperated sigh. "It's my Anima, it's just a bit of a stalker." She smirked slightly as the eyes in the bush disappeared soon after Skylar called it a stalker. Her animus could be quite touchy at times, and Skylar always loved to mess with it. "It also gets offended easily." She added on before she started walking back in the direction of the school. "My name's Skylar by the way. What's your's?" Her voice stayed rather friendly and chirpy as they continued to school together.

What'd you wish for?" He asked with a slight laugh wondering what Spiral may have wished for that a lizard couldn't grant. "My anima is a cardinal. It doesn't speak much, but it sure does like to follow me around." Once he spoke the cardinal flew down with almost perfect timing, and landed near them all.
"I agree with you, Spiral. People using their animas to pretend they're all high and mighty really annoys me. Do you know what I've heard though?" He spoke with a gossipy tone, and jumped onto the wall beside them, before sitting down himself. He began in a hushed voice. "I heard there's an organization that steals animas from the people you two described. You know, the ones always using their animas against others. They do it all to make the world an equal place. Just like you wanted Spiral. If what I've heard is right, they're supposedly led by the Black Turtle, and the Red Pheonix." His eyes grew wide, almost as if he didn't believe his own words, and he spoke with great enthusiasm.

Lillian continued to look where the lizard formerly was. She had never seen someone with a lizard god before, but there were so many out there that she hadn’t yet. She continued on walking, checking the time quickly. 8:29. The brown-haired girl bit the inside of her lip. She turned back to her at the question. “I’m a coyote.” She replied bubbly. “Is that it? Over there?” She asked after they walked a little farther. The brick was a slate gray and looked like it had about three stories. A large clock was in-between the second and third at the entrance. “It looks so cool!” Lillian said, stopping.


“So what if I did?” She snapped. Aanako was getting annoyed with them. It was their fault for getting in her way. “Also, you should watch your tongue. You see this dragon? I bet it could kill you in an instance. You probably have a lowly god, like a mouse or cat.” She said harshly as she started walking away from them.

"i know right?! so dang annoying! i mean, what is bad about a lizard? lizards are like tiny dragons but better. " spiral said, jumping a bit. she was excited someone agreed with her. she calm down a little, staring at aaron. she thought she made it obvious. "well, i wished for animas to not exist at all. to be honest, i don't think i'll ever forget what happened. has your anima ever.. changed? since i remember the lizard was usually dark green but when i gave them it my wish, the scales started to change blue and it grew a bit. they told me that no anima even a horid beast could grant that wish. makes sense. " spiral sighed, then tilt her head. someone who took away anima? she found one big flaw in it, though. she ran her fingers through her hair, looking in the distance. finally she replied, "there is one big flaw in their plan, then. they take anima away from the former bullies but who says the ones who were bully won't bully them? it isn't fair, still not unless you take away every single anima. even the horid beasts. " spiral said, she wouldn't join them. she wouldn't be useful anyway, plus all horid beasts were horrible to her. nothing could change that.

"Oh, a coyote? That's an interesting god, have you made your wish yet?" She paused a moment once she realized they had made it to school. "Yeah, that's it." She said smiling at Lillian's reaction. "It does have that effect on first years." She added on with bliss in her eye, remembering the first time she had seen the magnificent school. She allowed the moment to pass quickly though, remembering how they're almost late. "Uhhh we should probably hurry if we want to catch the orientation meeting. It's held in the gym."

The floor was marble and the walls coated with perfect eggshell walls. Her eyes lit up, and she giddily made her way to where she thought was the gym, yet she was probably going the totally opposite way.

She looked back in surprise, orbs wide. So she was the White Tiger? Enemy of the Red Phoenix and Black Turtle? A small smile played on her lips. Why would she so willingly give out her identity? " spiral sighed, then tilt her head. someone who took away anima? she found one big flaw in it, though. she ran her fingers through her hair, looking in the distance. finally she replied, "there is one big flaw in their plan, then. they take anima away from the former bullies but who says the ones who were bully won't bully them? it isn't fair, still not unless you take away every single anima. even the horid beasts. " spiral said, she wouldn't join them. she wouldn't be useful anyway, plus all horid beasts were horrible to her. nothing could change that.

She let out a small smile as Spiral called her god ‘interesting.’ She only met a few other coyotes. “Ya, for a tail!” Lillian wagged it, showing it off. She let out a chuckle after she did the movement. She nodded in agreement. The school was surprisingly beautiful. “Does it look pretty inside too?” She said childishly. Some had told her that her personality didn’t match the one of her anima, and that she was supposed to be sly, cunning, and unfriendly. It was a silly thing, that people were expected to act the same as their god. “Oh, we do?” Lillian asked, pushing open the large glass doors. The floor was marble and the walls coated with perfect eggshell walls. Her eyes lit up, and she giddily made her way to where she thought was the gym, yet she was probably going the totally opposite way.

Skylar let out a loud chuckle as she watched Lillian wiggle her tail in a giddy way. "You certainly have spunk." She mentioned offhandedly. "Yes, it's quite beautiful inside as well, so long as we don't get any people that try to graffiti it again this year." She spoke looking into the halls leading up to the gym. "Ugh, I don't want to go in there. It's gonna be so crowded." She complained to Lillian, and watched as she went the wrong way. Instead of intervening, Skylar decided to let Lillian wander randomly, and Skylar would follow behind. Maybe they would end up somewhere interesting in contrast to the boring gym, with the boring speeches. She had already heard their speeches 2 years now, and she was not very happy thinking about listening to it again. Plus, they never said anything of importance anyway, other than explaining the simple rules of having Animas at school, which everyone knew as common courtesy anyway.

That's good " she said and once again she looked back at spiral " we should probably go ....don't want to get in trouble " she said . Aaron began to laugh hardily at Spiral's exagerated response to Hei, before shrugging. "Meh, I've been to that stupid assembly about how to start the year off right 3 times now. Its the same boring thing every year, and no one notices if you don't show up. They never even say anything remotely useful. It's all just, 'Do your homework.' 'Turn in things on time.' 'Be a good student.' 'You animus doesn't matter, so everyone be nice.', type stuff. A big section of it is about being nice to people with lower ranked animus's, but no one really listens anyway." He began to mumble near the end, but perked up once they started showing off their animus forms.
The cardinal that had been watching them all for some time now, flew down beside them, giving a perky chirp. "I can keep mine around for as long as it likes, doesn't really drain me much." The truth behind it was because the cardinal was just a weaker version of his true form, but they didn't need to know this. None of the school even knew his true animus. It was like a piece of cake summoning the cardinal compared to the Pheonix. "Just work on summoning your gods more, I'm sure you'll pick it up eventually." He showed intrigue when Spiral tried to summon her animus, hoping it might reveal why she was so odd, but he grew dissapointed as nothing extraordinary happned.

" she grinned, she let her mind wander to her own family. she was adopted with sister, saturn and lived with her adopted parents that could be her grandparents. she never really thought of how her biological father and mother might be nor did she care much. tau, her adoptive father only told spiral one thing, both their parents were a mouse. which didn't make sense why spiral was a lizard and her sister, saturn was a golden dragon. she shook her head, now wanting to get rid of her thoughts. "okay! aaron you lead the way cuz i have no clue where it is. " spiral admitted, chuckling. finally, her anima disappeared. "i can hold mine out for a long time but.. it never comes out right. i mean, i picture a lizard and it doesn't come! its annoying. " she replied, wanting for aaron to lead. He exclaimed before looking back at Hei, "The pun was a cliff, which are edges, and I said I didn't want our edgy fight to end in a cliffhanger. Get now?" "hmm, well as long as you play fair, screecher. don't have much of a reason to deny, do i?" she replied, putting her hands on her hips. she always bit off more than she could chew, one of the bad things spiral was. she was too studdborn. spiral mumbled to aaron, "welp. looks like we're following your lead, don't get brutally injured, kay? won't blame you if you though. Aaron allowed his anima to form ignition, but only slightly. His anima swirled around him in a bright red color, and formed the outline of a bird. He made sure not to let it form fully, so his true anima wouldn't be discovered. He then used transferal, and his right hand turned bright red, before becoming sharp talons. He then gave Spiral a nod to start, before racing off towards the monkey boy. In a flash, he had already appeared beside Rogan, and swiped at Rogan's shoulder with his sharp talons. His ignition stayed swirling around him in a bright red color, to lessen the effects of anything that did hit him.

Aaron allowed his anima to form ignition, but only slightly. His anima swirled around him in a bright red color, and formed the outline of a bird. He made sure not to let it form fully, so his true anima wouldn't be discovered. He then used transferal, and his right hand turned bright red, before becoming sharp talons. He then gave Spiral a nod to start, before racing off towards the monkey boy. In a flash, he had already appeared beside Rogan, and swiped at Rogan's shoulder with his sharp talons. His ignition stayed swirling around him in a bright red color, to lessen the effects of anything that did hit him.

Rong watched spiral use transferal his eyes squinted as he saw the blue scales as well then he was wide eyed and his head perked up he looked like he had seen a ghost he put his arms in front of his face but the impact of the attack made him fly backwards he landed on his right side and grunted he shook his head as he noticed that the separation attack he was gonna use vanished from spirals attack . He growled now standing up and cracked his fists he summoned his anima and used Amplification then he thought for a moment on what to use next to deliver the most damage he sighed is favorite spell was separation he wasn't good at projecting his anima onto himself yet so he just went with separation but this time he split it into four . He grinned and threw two at aaron and two at spiral .

The talons that took the place of his hands through transferal swiped at both of the monkeys in an attempt to get rid of the pesty things. Noticing Spiral looked a little hurt in more ways than one, Aaron decided to try to stall to give her time to resummon her anima. I'll have to use separation, but I need to be careful so it's not the Red Pheonix. He mentally reminded himself before continuing with the separation ability. The talons on his hands dissipated, and a red mist began to swirl around him eventually forming into a few red cardinals. While the Cardinals did look rather harmless and couldn't inflict deep wounds, to the touch they'd burn like fire. The small flock of birds began to fly at Rong, and started to surround him.

Swift rushes in school as her Amina ears and tail were present on her body. She stopped in front of hei. She started panting.

spiral looked surprise that her attack one, actually worked and that he flew so far. she wasn't dense to the fact now that it was impossible for her to be a lizard. then, was she a dragon like her sister? spiral's face twisted into a look of fear and disgust. she couldn't be. she wasn't like.. `them`. her sister was the only expectation. spiral spent so much of her life hating everyone who was stronger, powerful, now she may have been living a lie her whole life. technically she was the one breaking the rule here even if rong jin started it. spiral glance up, seeing the anima flying at her but didn't even bother to move. she just stood there. spiral flew back into the wall but luckily her anima soften the impact. blood trickled down her forehead, she didn't move still. spiral's shoulders slump. she looked like a baby that got its candy stolen. she push off the ground with her hands, standing up. her vison blurred. spiral summoned one anima, "rong jin. i suggest you forfeit before you get injured, badly. " no way am i not a lizard. i can't be. i seen my anima myself. its a dark green lizard that is always so annoying!

[ hmm, i thought transformation was transferal. maybe transformation is transforming your anima into something else? like when irang summoned his white tiger but made it look like a regular tiger. also its up to you. spiral's anima won't fully awaken yet probably for some time. not to mention you have to deal with her studdborness. ]

"You'll want to pick up more wrap one your way home from school, and replace the wrapping every 24 hours. Make sure to clean it off in between every new wrap too." He instructed her while finishing up the recleaning of his apartment.

" spiral was bluffing the last part of it, she wouldn't waste her wish on that. it was strange on how much she wanted to get rid of the wish but kept on deciding against wishing for something. spiral nodded, "`kay doc. " she made her way to the couch and plop down onto it. in two years when spiral was in her third year, saturn would be in this school. probably. that would be quite hard to explain on how spiral herself was a lizard-dragon-freak-whatever-she-is and saturn was a dragon.

spiral was able to make out the mumbled words he said, having learn from experience when saturn was mad. "wow, i didn't know cardinals even how the power to do that. " she breathed, scratching the back of her neck. she would have loved if she knew that before she decided to poke it. "i always look ridiculous wearing THIS UNIFORM! haha, you think that will stop me? mate, i will just wish to get in here or somethin. " spiral was bluffing the last part of it, she wouldn't waste her wish on that. it was strange on how much she wanted to get rid of the wish but kept on deciding against wishing for something. spiral nodded, "`kay doc. " she made her way to the couch and plop down onto it. in two years when spiral was in her third year, saturn would be in this school. probably. that would be quite hard to explain on how spiral herself was a lizard-dragon-freak-whatever-she-is and saturn was a dragon.

Aaron gave her a distasteful, but playful look. "That's Dr. Edgy-Evil-Cleanfreak-World Lord to you." He looked at the uniform with a confused looked, before looking at his own. "Really? I think it looks fine on you, plus I kinda like mine." He said confidently with a smug looked. He finished wiping the counter, and replacing the couch cushions, after cleaning them of course, and turned back to Spiral. "Come on let's go then. We're already late enough as it is, and its the first day too." He gave a sigh towards the ground before continuing. "Dang, the teachers already think I'm some sort of rebel from last year, but I swear I'm a good student." He gave a dramatic, sad pose before walking towards the door to open it.

He internally cringed watching her smear the chocolate all over her hands and face in an attempt to eat it. "Hey!! I'm a good student... Most of the time. I don't back talk teachers, and I get good grades. That's totally enough to qualify for 'good student'." He gave an energetic laugh before walking over to the faucet to turn it on. "As for the good role model part, I'm a great role model. I think that if all students aspired to be like me, school would be a better place. A better place socially anyway, I'm not so sure about a better place education wise... Honestly, if most students aspired to be like you, or Hei, school would be a better place too. I just hope none aspire to be as messy as you." He retorted with a devilish grin on his face. "Well with the expertise I have on doctoring, exhibited when I cleaned your wounds, I would have to say no. Her wish made her have reactions, and senses similar to a cat. She changed nothing physically; she only changed mentally. So physically, her stomach should be able to digest chocolate like most humans." He finished giving an overly intelligent tone in an attempt to mimic a scientist. "Now wash your hands, and we'll be out." He mentioned casually, not wanting to rush to school.

Aaron shot her a smirk, and began to wipe down the counters compulsively. "Well, I can assure you what I say is true. Being truthful is part of the good student thing, so by telling you what I say is true, I'm making it fact." He honestly knew his logic led nowhere if it was closely examined, but he doubted whether or not Spiral would actually take the time to think out what he had said. He waited impatiently by the door, occasionally checking the clock while he waited for her to come back. She's destroyed my bathroom. I'm sure of it. He shuddered to himself, only imagining what it could look like. Once she had returned, he decided to get her out before she could do more damage, instead of going to clean the bathroom. "Alright, let's go." He walked behind Spiral, and began to shove her out the door. "Out, out-out."
