it is a small town in the middle of nowhere, right?
hanté isn't a noteworthy place, a small dot in the french countryside home to only around 500 people. one school, one store- virtually everyone knows each other, and you can barely call it a town!
nobody here makes it big, and nobody ever leaves!
it's so amazing, isn't it?
there aren't any visitors, either.

[ so basically, this takes place in a town where nobody leaves-- it seems like nobody's ever tried, and the few that do never seem to come back. it's surrounded by a lush forest, with dangers hidden within. ]
[ your characters are either mythical forest creatures-- fairies, nymphs, centuars, and the like-- with the intent to safeguard the town and prevent anyone from entering or exiting, or one of the few humans in the area who have formed their own 'adventuring group', to investigate these woods together and solve the town's mysteries. ]
