I don't get it are these all cats from the books? Cause I don't know half of them...
Or are they from WCO too?
I didn't even know yellowcough and Redcough existed...and you put Greencough twice (unless there are cats called Greencough, yellowcough and Redcough)
Also fun fact, my best friend has pneumonia and a chest infection right now...
BEAR.

These're all from the books, and Red/Yellowcough were recently introduced into the series.

I kind of beg to differ, all these cats can be killed,(And killed again in the dark forest.) What's to keep sicknesses from coming back?

The worst way to die in the Warriors series:
Being killed by greencough offscreen.
Or dying offscreen period.

Herbs will prevent sicknesses.

Herbs will prevent sicknesses.
Herbs will sometimes cure sicknesses, though I'm fairly sure none of the medicine cats have discovered ways to prevent them(I might be wrong I'm not very caught up on the books.) But these herbs are generally in short supply, hence the deaths listed above, and there are cases like kit-cough, where the herb used to grow where the twolegs came, but is now not found in the forest.(I don't know about the lake territory.) In any case, weaker cats, like elders and kits can still die even with the use of herbs.
Anyway, I think if you measured up the deathcount of any of those cats against greencough, greencough would win by a mile.
I'm really glad to hear your opinion though, it brought some interesting insight.

Lol yeah that might help. Particularly in a case where the medicine cat grows catmint like Jayfeather did.
Although I really didn't like that part.

But if a cat consumes catmint on a regular basis, they will build a resistance to it.

Dying from a sickness off screen must really show how much the erins didn't care for that cat, for example: Icecloud, Spiderleg, Toadstep and Hazeltail

I might not be remembering this right but when Millie first came to Thundeclan I believe she said she couldn't get infected by greencough because of twoleg medicine. Yet, later on, she gets whitecough which develops into greencough and she gets really close to death.
I wonder if this is like the flu, it keeps evolving and changing so every flu season we get shots for which type of flu they predict will be going around.

don't forget that sometimes the cat will be allergic to catmint and the herbs won't respond ( Willowbreeze, Molekit * Sorreltail's son, and Cinderheart's brother* )

That just makes me think of Mothflight’s Vision, where she accidentally got that one tom addicted to catmint.

Wait, in mothflights vision, catmint behaves like an actual drug?
My, how the warriors series has matured.

Ooooh thats an interesting point. I think initially Millie would have been vaccinated against anything the clan cats could potentially give her. If it was something like a booster shot, depending on how long she has been w/ the clans, the medication would have found it's way out of her system which would make her susceptible to disease.
TLDR; Vaccinate your pets because rip Millie

Catmint IS a drug. It’s catnip.
Please don't assume I'm an idiot.
I know that, however in the series, it was just treated as a thing that made cats more playful, not addictive.
Please don't assume that I have no ibdea what catnip is, I have several cats and a catnip plant.
