What happened to the world?

It used to be peaceful and beautiful, caring and kind. That was over 200 years ago. Now, it is chaos, apocalyptic, murderous, and horrible.

No one knows why it happened. People started acting... primitive. No, that’s not the word. I can’t even describe it. They just... snapped. The whole homo-Salian population. Completely snapped. And it was everyone at once. Going to buy whatever weapons the could, killing others for the sheer fun of it, no. It was awful.

Now, it’s still going on. It’s as if this reign of terror will never end. There are no leaders. No groups. There are only temporary alliances that always end up with backstabbing. Even showing your face spells certain death. No matter who you are.

Basically, this is a war-ish apocalyptic thing... No specific plot, though I am open to suggestions... :3

Kind. But a bit cold when needed. A strong fighter and a smart man, protective and usually always strikes first when needed. And whenever he starts a battle he always ends it with the other fearing him or broken one might say. A leader to the end however has a rather dark side to him. He’s ruthless, cunning smart tricky, a player of mind and a flirt. He attracts many with his kindness, loyalty and a simple need to protect and lead but if you don’t have anything he may need he’ll use you for something more dark and sinister.
Also one more thing. In order to survive he must kill anyone if needed and eat them when he sees it fit.
Sasuke can be a hidden villain to y’all. Ending people one by one and you have two choices go against him and his followers or trick the trickster itself

Personality: Maple's extremely friendly,kind and selfless. She'll stand in front of you to take a shot if she wants to,she might be kind and her looks might seem childish but she knows how to defend herself and won't hesitate to fight you if you hurt her or her friends.
Plot Ideas [ optional ]: Maybe there can be a group that tries to figure out what has happened with humanity and maybe try to put an end to this.
Other / Questions: Maple didn't buy the machete. She was cutting down some braches that looked like they may fall on someone when the event happened and she had to use it to defend herself.

Looks: tall with dark brown hair shaved on the sides of her head and tied in the back. She has strange eyes, appearing grey or blue at most distances, but green up really close. Her pale skin is sparsely dotted with freckles and scars pattern her skin from various fights. She is usually found wearing a tight, but stretchy black shirt, dark jeans, and worn out combat boots with iron tips. She carries two knives sheathed in her belt and a pocket tool in her boot.
Personality: cold and calculated on the outside, but she's honestly terrified of what she and the human race has become, if she could even call them that. If anything at all poses even the slightest threat, she won't hesitate to throw one of her knives, but as soon as she's in her protective shelter, she cries over every person she's killed. Silv writes a number on her inner wrist for every person she's killed. By now, it's reached 53.
Plot Ideas [ optional ]: maybe with every person the characters kill, they become slightly more human, depending on their personality?

Looks: shaggy brownish hair that hasn't been cut for several months so it now hangs down to his collar. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He's short and lightly tanned, but not really enough to notice. He's wearing a torn red flannel shirt over a white band t-shirt that he forgot when he got and jeans. He carries a pistol and ammo in his belt and a rifle on his back.
Personality: Unlike Silvia, Michael actually is cold and calculated. He evaluates every situation for possoble escaple routes if things go badly, but does not hesitate to pull the trigger if he sees any sign of a living creature. However, he's been noticing these... feelings ... creeping back in...
Plot Ideas [ optional ]: he falls in love with someone. Don't care about the gender. That person makes him human again.
