A Not So Better World

Have you ever wanted to get away, escape reality forever? What if actually happened? One night, as you lie awake, thinking of ways to escape, and suddenly everything goes dark, and when you wake up again, you're given a choice; to go back to how things were, or go on to this new reality? Why is this,
you may wonder? Allow me to explain, you can move from dimension to dimension, but only once in your life. Everybody could, but only those who really want it actually do, and so, you enter this new reality, thinking that it will be everything you imagined, and at first, it is. It's futuristic, and yet a perfect balance between city and forest, trees, plants, buildings made inside giant trees big as skyscrapers, and everything's perfect, or so you thought. Soon, you start to notice little things, like people disappearing in the night, never to be seen again, or that everybody around looks worn out, guarded, and constantly on high alert for anything dangerous. Whatever's causing this, can you find it in time, or will you be the next disappearance?
Explanation
Basically, it's the year 2188, and the world is better, but the people aren't, and you can't take it any longer. You want to leave, find a better place to live, and so, you do, along with a bunch of other people. But it isn't as perfect as it seems, and as it turns out, there's another dimension leaking into this one, but this time, it's not humans from Earth, but horrible, monstrous creatures posing as humans in the day, and become monsters at night to hunt, picking off the weak and young. Nobody realizes this though, because they leave no evidence, and no survivors. And your job, is to find out about the monsters, who the monsters are, and how to destroy them. So, the humans form an army to defeat the monsters, only problem? Anyone one be a monster spy, so how will they be stopped?
