deep within a forgotten island, a glass house reigns. the uncle to a child who lost their significant other in a horrific accident, gifts the house to them. but the house is not as it seems. it is a machine. every hour, a vengeful spirit is let loose to achieve it's revenge, and it hunts those who step within its path. the spirits may only be seen with special glasses, but beware, even those may not be enough. the ghosts are tricky, their souls displaced for years, examining the outside world and building their tricks.
the glass walls hold spells to keep the ghosts locked away, but every hour, those walls resort themselves to free those spirits. never turn your back. the only escape is to destroy the center console before it is too late, or else the ghosts will find you; or hell will be released by your power-driven uncle.. literally. careful not to be tricked,
it may cost you your life.
twelve ghosts; one family. but, wait, there is supposed to be a thirteenth ghost! ah, my friend, it is you who shall be that final ghost. sacrifices must be made to reach great power, indeed. will you allow your family to die, or sacrifice yourself to love? tsk, tsk, tsk, remember; nobody is to be trusted.

okay!! so, yeah, this roleplay is based off of the movie thirt13en ghosts. if you haven't watched it, i suggest checking it out! warning: it has a lot of gore, some nudity, profanity, and other non-child-friendly subjects. i'm a fan of horror, so, i decided: hey, why not make a roleplay out of this? so, i did. but, there's a few rules to follow when- or if- you think of applying.

- follow all site guidelines.
- no mary- or gary- sues.
- no godmodding or powerplay.
- keep all gore to a minimum.
- each hour will be decided by those in charge of the roleplay! do not decide this yourself!
- stay as active as possible! all characters are very important!
- no spotlighting. include everyone!
- post at least one paragraph; four or more complete sentences.
- if you have read everything, place my username in the other section of your form.
- please, try to keep this as realistic as a house full of magical spells that keep ghosts away and powers itself can be.
- do not, i repeat, do not make an anthromorphic, or furry, character. no hate against them, but all forms with characters who have these attributes will be ignored.
- the spirits cannot speak. however, they may send broken echoes, like thoughts, to the living; but not eachother.
- the ghosts must not have a love interest for another ghost. if they were lovers before death, then this information will not be acted upon. that being said, a human may not fall for a ghost, either.
- give everyone a chance to type before posting a reply!! if someone has not posted within twenty-four hours with no excuse as to why, either go ahead and post or send them a message.
- don't make everyone just one gender or age, shake things up a little!

carmen stood at the height of 5”8’. he had pale, nearly pure white skin with dark brown, almost black, hair. his hair had one pastel blue streak in it, while it was short and stuck up at odd angles, with the occasional curl somewhere. carmen had bright green eyes that could have been described as a deep, swimming emerald. his voice was quiet, obtaining a canadian accent. he normally wore bright colours, gothic yet pastel having been his favorite. carmen enjoyed wearing a large, navy blue scarf with every outfit he wore. along with that, he wore converse in which had flower prints on them. also, carmen never left his room without one of many flower crowns upon his head. small, black-framed glasses sat along his nose, and he was constantly needing to push them up, as they did not sit still on the nearly completely straight shape of his nose. he also carried a tiny satchel full of many things.
now, carmen has nearly transparent skin, cuts and gashes all along his body. his clothes are torn, shoes and feet replaced with thin air, and hair disheveled. he carries a white rose, a saddened look upon his fallen face. carmen's once-green eyes are now blank, white spaces, with visible tears streaming from them. his beloved flower crown is broken and falling apart, while his satchel leaves a trail of fallen petals with every "step." his 'voice' is a mere breath, now, yet still holds the softness in which he had in life. carmen is still the same height as he was.
personality
carmen was shy, but is now malicious, searching for revenge on who took his life. he was kind, and generous, being quite childish at times, but death has made him sad. his daily struggles, trapped within the house with no way to escape, prove to be part of his murderous mission. he only wants one thing; to be free again. he was a good kid! good grades, always studying, making what friends he could and treading away from the dark side of life. carme never deserved the treatment he had received. he was clumsy, and easily flustered,
but now has become merciless. he will try to escape at all costs.

Biron wears a collared shirt that covers up the rope burns from when he had hung himself, and a small trickle of blood runs down his mouth. He has ghoulish, pale skin and wide eyes with shadows under them.
Personality
Biron loves his sister very much, and would do anything to protect her. He despises bullies and his rage for them distorts his vision, making living people look just like the bullies that drove his sister to kill herself. He is very clever and mischievous, which got him in trouble quite a bit when he was alive. Biron despises being trapped in the glass house.
Weapon
A large kitchen knife.
Cause of Death
Biron was twelve when his sister committed suicide, leaving him with a pair of heartbroken parents, and several of his sister's bullies unaware that they were the cause of her death. One afternoon just after school, Biron lured the bullies to the forest just a few yards away from the tree Lola had hung herself in. He revealed his kitchen knife and flew into a rage, killing the bullies without remorse or regret. With his job complete, Biron left the knife in a body before hanging himself in the very same tree that Lola had done, ready to reunite with her in the afterlife.
Weaknesses
-Biron cannot willfully kill a child younger than eight years of age.
-If someone can manage to get his knife away from him, Biron is unable to kill them.

Lola has wavy brown hair and beautiful dark brown eyes; blood is always dripping from her wrists, and a rope is tied tightly around her throat. Her ragged, dirty, bloodstained white dress clings to her thin, emaciated frame. Lola's mouth has sharp teeth, and her nails like claws. From a distance, she looks like a scared, lonely little girl; up close, she looks like a monster.
Personality
Lola is rarely happy, dealing with clinical depression. Her name even means sadness, which makes her backstory all the more tragic. Her only saving grace was her brother, Biron, whom she loves with all her heart. She's a very creative little girl as well. Lola was bullied during her elementary school years after transferring to the school during fourth grade.
Weapon
A noose. Lola lures people to the top of the stairs, where it looks like she's about to jump off. When someone tries to stop her, their head is slipped through the loop when they pick her up and they drop to the ground after losing their balance.
Cause of Death
Lola was driven to commit suicide after being bullied in her elementary school years after transferring to the very school where the bullies went. She went out to the forest behind the school with a rope and a note and hung herself, the note held by her thin, pale hands.
Weaknesses
-If someone apologizes to her for bullying her, she will leave them alone.
-If someone manages to untie the noose around her neck, she will run away to find another piece of rope.

Nixx was 5'9" when she died. Her eyes were an Oceanic blue and her skin was naturally bronze. Her hair was long, brown, and straight. She usually wore her blue hat backwards unless her hair was in a ponytail. She usually wore a Shinedown tshirt with loose skinny jeans a pair of blue Nikes.
She looks nearly the same except her skin in almost transparent. The one thing that sticks out is her eyes, they for some reason are still Oceanic Blue.
