Welcome to 'Sanctuary!' Where is Sanctuary, exactly? Well, that's a secret, but it's in a lush jungle almost completely untouched by humans. Normal ones, anyway.

All the residents of Sanctuary are strange. They have horns. They have wings. They have tails. Some chat with the jungle birds like old friends. Some speak with the dead. Some can even tear time in two. But all of them are 'freaks', as society would call them.


These are more for protection's sake more than anything else. There's no real leader- they decide everything as a group.

Guardian; Someone who guards the borders. They're in charge of keeping intruders out, and making sure none of the little ones leave, for their own sakes.

Herbalist; A healer- takes care of people when they get sick, or perhaps gets bit by a snake, or something like that. Lots of the little ones help the healers gather herbs.

Envoy; A very rare role. Only those few who can either disguise their appearance or look human can become one of these- if, on the rare occasion, the people of the Sanctuary desperately need something, they travel[by some magical means] to a village, trading something they can easily obtain for what they need. They otherwise are a herbalist or guardian- an envoy is just a secondary role. [Closed!]

Lil's; All the little kids who are too young to do anything. Sometimes help the healers collect herbs.

She laid down on her stomach, and dragged her finger along the branch, freezing it into a complicated pattern. It's so muggy out here... No one's even come here since I was what, thirteen? It's been years. She sighed as she stared out into the forest.

Blight flew above the treetops, with a small mango in his hand. It's hot... Is there even anything to do? He sighed, landing in a small tree near the center. I don't even have any guard duty yet... good grief.

Asaki let out a sigh, swinging her legs as she sat on a branch. Boredom laced her gaze. Ugh. This life was so boring. Just sit around and survive. Nothing else. Letting out a sigh, she slipped off the branch, landing on the leafage bellow. Since her power could only change her appearance, she brought a bow 'n arrow everywhere she went. A rustle in the bushesAsaki immediately put the arrow on the string, holding it back steadily at the direction the noise came from.

Collin extended his wings as he was mid-air, relishing the breeze that strongly pulled him back. He glided lower to the ground, swooping over a small pond and landing near it. He bent down, examining the plant infront of him. Thyme, perhaps? He gently fiddled with the parsley-like leafs. Definitely. He pulled the stalk by the root, putting it in his bag as he collected more.

Harper watched the other 'lils play in silence, covering her ears as she did so. The voices were ringing in her head. It hurt so much, to have anothers mind screaming in your own. She could never sleep, and the dark bags under her eyes showed it. Her golden hair was in tangles as she struggled to sleep, hearing everyone's dreams, nightmares, and the ones who were awake. She hated her power, and it had no use. 'What's wrong with her?' 'Why is she like that?' 'She's a weirdo, even among us!' A frown pursed on her face at the words ringing through her mind, but neverless she pressed her hands harder on her ears.

Naomi squealed and began to tear up. A yellow and black bumblebee had stung her! It flew away without a care. Naomi sniffled, whimpered, and finally cried.

Lee sat on a rock in the middle of a pond. It was peaceful for the boy. The sky was blue, and small clouds littered the expanse of blue. Lee had nothing to worry about here. This was his safe place. Lee stood up, and climbed off of the boulder. When he hit the water, he skillfully swam to shore. Lee then began to head back to the others.

Noah skipped along looking for some herbs. His deer ears flicked hearing some conversations nearby. The brown haired boy shrugged and continued sniffing. His brown eyes caught glimps of a herb. "Bingo!" He smiled to himself before picking it. "well that was the last one..time to head back." He turned on his heal and headed back towards his place. His deer tail twitching every so often.

Rome was off in the forest once again. She wasn't at her post guarding as usual. She took out her map that she made of the forest. "Hey Pierce should I go exploring today or go taking pictures of the places I actually know well..?" She asked nothingness. Suddenly a pop sound came and there came a black septiceye. It's Amber colored eye looked at her. "I dunno. I think you should get back to where your actually supposed to be doing-your job! And come on I was having a nice dinner down in hell. But noOoo you had to summon me up here." Pierce rolled his eye. Obviously annoyed. The red headed girl huffed. Her blue-ish grey-ish eyes showed amusement. "Well to the unknown we go!" She giggled as a groan came from Pierce.

It was so..boring! Moriko turned back to her normal form, her ears pricked and green eyes wide with excitement. "Hmmmm" she thought, unable to see any animals she could talk with. "Maybe the Herbalists need help!" She chirped,
taking off towards where she knew they were.

From a of the amazing abilities others got, the 'lil believed she got the short end of the straw. Less people were going into the forest. The forest! Harper immediately squirmed her way through the bushes until she made her way to the area of dense trees. She ran a little to get away from everyone. Two thoughts were now in her head, her own and someone else's. Before she could stop, she ran into Rome, letting out a squeak as she did so.
