Laying on the ground, Windystar never felt more vulnerable, out of control, more unleaderlike than he had ever been. His eyes flickered open as the feline talked, full amber hues shining with unshed tears. He didn’t dare move. Moonpaw was full of the Dark Forest lies, fueling her and pushing her. That would have been fine, if it wasn’t pushing her IN THE WRONG DIRECTION ENTIRELY. He hissed. "Prove to them then!" he challenged, attempting to harden his voice but failing miserably. Instead, his emotion poured out as it usually did. Anger, pity, sadness, and... fear. He was afraid. Yes, he had 8 lives left but what if Moonpaw didn’t stop? Would he ever see Milkweed again? "You can tell everyone you took a leader’s life. Is that good enough?" Okay, now he was visibly shivering. Moonpaw wouldn’t be reasoned with. This was the only way, right?

He felt paws, then claws, getting heavier and heavier until his bones creaked. And as he braved himself to see StarClan, to be berated once more for his foolish actions, he... didn’t die. In fact, though he was close to it, he wasn’t dead. But he was to afraid to move. Speak. His breaths came in shallow spikes; one could barely even tell he was alive.

A battle between Clanmates was disgraceful! Who in there right mind would turn on the very thing that kept them alive? Amber eyes flickering from corner to corner Lightfeather wasn't sure what to do. Yet at the sight of a car bringing Windystar to the ground and what looked like a heap of motionless fur she was taken over by emotion. That cat just killed him!? "Windystar!" She let out a yowl changing at the cat that had apparently killed him? How could a cat kill him? Her best friend! Ramming into the smaller feline, attempting to knock her down the warrior let out a hiss. "How could you attack your own leader?! And try to kill him!?" The creamy molly asked her voice raising. That was very unusual for the feline, she never did that. The normally sweet shy warrior stood there claws out and teeth bared. If Windystar died he come back but the thought of him dying sent chills down her spine, she's already lost Dawnfall tonight. One was enough.
