Yeah... She had needed this walk to clear her head. Everything in camp had felt so overwhelming, stuffy and suffocating at times. The recent meeting specifically had been clawing and worming its way around her brain. It fueled doubt... it fueled fear. Coming to a sudden stop in the woods, the ginger tabby let out a loud sigh as she tilted her head back to look up at the vivid sky. Even though it was still day, the lack of stars seemed to perturb her. Were they watching? Did they still care? Sucking in a shaky breath, Swirls carried on her walk with no particular direction to it. The warrior was walking, just to walk at this point - though still taking care to turn around when the smell of another clan started growing more prevalent. Last thing she wanted to deal with was a surprise border scrap, especially when the clan had been forbidden from patrolling them. Ducking through a collection of ferns, Swirls stopped once more as her ears swiveled towards a sudden unexpected noise. Oh! Surprise!

"Slate!" Cherryswirl meowed loudly, bumbling through the grouping of ferns, "Wasn't expecting to see you out this way -" She huffed, "- Taking a walk too? Seems to be all the rage these days. Good for thinking," Her excitement feigned, the tiredness and worry slipping through the cracks of her usual facade. Whatever it was that her old friend was doing out here had to be far more interesting than her pacing back and forth across the territory... Maybe, bouncing a few ideas off of him wouldn't hurt either.

"Wouldn't happen to need a walking buddy, would you?"
