"One was barking like a crazy person and they claim that the territory over there is theirs. " He said. "I was just gonna go back when they weren't over there barking like lunitics. "
"So there is something over there!" Wolf mewed excitingly. "Let's go!" He ran off.
"Wait. I don't think your parents gave you permission..." Aatu said wqlking off after him.
"I mean....I can.. " Shafow said.
Bird and Crayfish tore after their sibling.
She cocked her head. "Hey listen, I hear meows." She mewed loudly in response.

Skye had been traveling for a few days now. She was often drifting from place to place, never really settling down. This new area was full of the scent of wolf, other cats, and a fox. I should stay alert, she thought. Wouldn't want that fox to sneak up on me. Or a wolf. Shivers ran down her pelt, puffing her tail a bit.

The last echoes of a hello drifted through the trees, and Fang lifted his head. "...hello?" He called uneasily, stepping down from the log he was basking on. "Is anyone there?" There was quite a bit of greenery in this area, making it hard to see ones surroundings.

"That was a meow not a bark!" Bird pulled ahead of her brother, scrambling over a log bridge. "It probably isn't the weird humans."

The scent of fox grew stronger. Skye hesitated. "My name is Skye. Listen, I think we might be in danger. This whole place reeks of-"
She pushed through a clump of undergrowth until her nose bumped against a long russet snout. Her eyes widened. "Fox!" She leaped back, startled.
He sneezed and rubbed his snout with a paw, then licked his paw and swiped it over his whiskers. "Yes, that might have something to do with this being the scent line of the territory, but I don't think I smell that badly, do I?" Since he was so much taller than her, he lay down in front of the she-cat and curled his tail around himself. "Pleasure to meet you, Skye."
