Shadow walked by each house, going to River's. When he reached her house, he knocked on the door.
"A female," Feather said, stretching. "Young, but not a kit."
From behind the house, she heard the knocking. "FLUFFY!!" She continued up the steep hill to the house and ran around it. "Shadow! You're here!"

"Pulling makes you go faster now don't trip." She hopped over the rock that was mostly buried in the leaves and ducked through the thorn branches. "There's thorns here."
