”How many moons ago did you die? Also, at least I will now remember you. Once Riverclan, always Riverclan,” the molly smiled. She felt bad for the tom.

Reedlight hummed. "I... Don't know, actually. Time passes strangely here in StarClan, at least for me. I don't know how long I've been dead for," he said, and he beamed at the she-cat. "Thanks. Hey, uh... Do you know any Snowleap or Racoonear? They were my best friend... Oh! And Reedpaw too! Are they alright?"

"Reedpaw was a medicine cat apprentice when I was around," Reedlight corrected, though his ears wiggled happily. Snowleap and Raccoonear were good! They were alive! Good... As much as he missed his friends, no way did he want them to join StarClan too soon like him. Now... What else to talk about? "So, uh... How are you?"

“Oh, in that case, Reedpaw is gone. We have Stonepaw now. Fawnlight had a sign from your people that burned her paws so bad they couldn’t stop trembling… Then she died, so we lost our original medicine cat,” Mistycloud mewed softly.

“I’m fine, you?” the blue-eyed warrior asked Reedlight.

Reedlight blinked, slowly registering what he'd been told, and his ears dropped slightly. Reedpaw was... Gone? His little buddy had disappeared? Just like his sister? And... Who was Fawnlight? And Stonepaw? Man, he'd really missed a bunch.... And it made him feel a bit queasy.

"I'm... Fine," Reedlight answered hesitantly, again shuffling his paws. "Though I'd still like to know how I ended up here..."

"That'd probably be good, since I don't want to keep intruding on dreams of others," the black-striped tom said, nodding slowly. "That happens to me a lot, especially without my say... But I feel like cats should still be able to have peaceful dreams without others intruding, y'know?"

Reedlight tilted his head, confused. Really? Was it because this had happened before, or because she was just being nice? He didn't know... Weren't dreams supposed to be private unless something important happened?

"Uh... Are you sure? I can leave if you want me to!" He yelped, jumping to his paws. "Really, I wouldn't mind! I'm intruding, after all-!"
