Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
  
  
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: Lotuskit is a very good character for somebody so young and has gone through serious mental trauma recently. She is very kind and nice and I would like if she could get some recognition.

Why should this character be featured?: Where do I start? I think cinderpaw is a great character! She’s kind and sweet. She gives time to others and gives up a nights sleep to protect the kits. She’s well written too!

Echosong is the literal embodiment of good, she is glorious. The care she shows for each and every one of her clanmates, regardless of their relation to her, is so heartwarming it makes me want to cry. Also, can we talk about how she literally became an unofficial guard outside of the medicine cats den to make sure Shallowshiver was okay? Do you hear that? Yeah, thats me SOBBING.

Im bumbles #1 fan ever in the history of ever I lov her sm. AND HER COMING OUT MADE ME PUNCH THE AIR AND CHEER OUT LOUD LIKE OMG !!! Shes such a consistently written character even after like two years of rp all while not going stale, and every time Dino get out a new Bumble post my face just goes like :0

Why should this character be featured?: They are an Adorable character, and i love rping my Risingkit with them, the silly antics with moss ball has me trying not to giggle sometimes

Why should this character be featured?: Larkpaw is a fine character with depth, and Kat has an attention to detail that fleshes her out so much more. She's more than a mere plot device for anyone, catching Dawnstar's attention and claiming the title of first apprentice Enforcer in a Clan full of knuckleheads and edgelords... I think Larkpaw has a very interesting and promising future as a character, and we have Kat's abilities as a fantastic writer to thank for it.

Why should this character be featured?: I absolutely love roleplaying Bouncepaw and Bluebellpaw. She has a unique character who deserves some love. That is why I think she deserves to be nominated.

Why should this character be featured?: SpiritedWarrior has blossomed Flameheart into an incredibly active and dedicated member of ThunderClan. I can feel Flameheart’s appreciation for rank and Clanmate in every post, and it is a joy to see them around.

Why should this character be featured?: Every post of Vulturefang is interesting and fun to read, and his general disdain for Shadowfur is entertaining. The nonchalant way Vulturefang looks at warrior life is a fresh take, especially for ShadowClan.
