On Halloween night, with the moon so bright,
Ghosts and goblins take their flight.
Skeletons dance on freshly dug graves,
Hooting and howling, enjoying their raves.
And deep in a cave, the walls a pale gray,
Percival works and hurries away.
What are they doing? Oh, you shall soon see.
But, wait -- now they're howling like a banshee!
They come storming outside with a hiss and a glare,
Their eyes lock on you, and they say to you, "Where?"
"Where are my candies, you filthy twoleg?"
"Tell me right now or I'll make you beg!"
All of a sudden, the two of you spy,
A small creature giggling from the corner of your eye.
It carries a bag full of sweet candy corn,
And skitters away, leaving Percival to mourn.
After a moment, they look up at you.
"You'd better go fetch those, or I'll turn you to goo!"
You have your orders, and now the hunt shall start.
You need to go now, lest Percival has a change of heart!
Little does my familiar know, the bag of candy corn it stole
has a hole in it, just in case something like this happened again.
Oh, no, we don't talk about the previous times this has happened.
What matters is now. The candy corn that wretched familiar stole looks like this:
Your job is to track down my candies around the forums using
whatever strange twoleg magic you can think of. Knowing my familiar,
it's been all over this blasted site. These candies could be in threads,
in staff members' profiles, signatures, and even albums!
Those splash pages aren't safe either. Almost
nowhere is.
The candy corn could be right under your nose!
Fortunately for you, it appears the candy only shows up on the
first page of threads, so you don't need to go graveyard
digging too deep. In fact, I would avoid it. Aside from it being a
waste of your time, you might get roped into a rave with the skeletons.
Ugh.
Oh, before I forget, I know my familiar won't go anywhere near the
Old Topics.
Something about not liking cobwebs. I just know there won't be anything there.
It also likes staying on the main forums. So, areas that require membership --
Alternative Warriors Roleplay and
Non-Warriors Roleplay -- are out.
Inside my mystical candies, you will find phrases or words that
must be remembered! Write them down somewhere. This is how
I'll know you found my candies.
There were
25 candies in my bag, but I know you twolegs aren't
nearly as competent as those of us with four legs and fur, so I suppose
I'll settle for
at least 15 candies returned to my lair. If you can do that,
I suppose I'll let you off without a curse. This time.
If you'd really like to find all 25, I won't stop you.
I have my doubts on whether or not you can really do it, but...
To return the candy corn to me, you must privately message me the phrases attached to them!
Every phrase you send me will net you
100 Koins,
and you will receive an additional
500 Koins
for finding at least 15 candies.
If you
do end up finding all 25, I'll give you an additional
1000 Koins from my personal stash on top of everything else.
