Ack, yeah. He would explain that on their way back and turning around and beginning to head back he contemplated the apprentice's question before ending up with just a hollow shake of his head. "I don't know. Its not up to me, nor is it up to anyone else but Icestar and Beastspark to decide that. So, my advice, is see how long it'll go on but be prepared to move at any case. I can't imagine we would be staying here for much longer. The clan needs to return home." Or at least so was Buckspring's opinion of it anyway. Buckspring wasn't much for... not being back in camp. Not at all.

The slick black tom was slightly surprised that his words had actually reached her, and he bobbed his head slowly, his chest rolling in a purr as his yellow eyes gazed back at her warmly, "Your life is worth no less than hers was." He added just for an added reassurance, and her brought his thin body to bump hers affectionately. He still didn't seem to understand that she didn't like to be touched.

Thornscratch nodded. "Blackhaze keeps telling me to get over it" the molly told Peppersnout. She hissed suddenly, quickly bringing her paw to the tom's face to try and give him a light whack. She didn't like being touched by cats except Blackhaze. He could do anything. She didn't mind what he told her to do or what he said to her. He was her only real friend.

He jumped with surprise as she whacked him, giggling a little and lifting his own paw for a playful whack back. Still with his kill in his mouse, he bounced away from her before spinning around with a large grin, "You're it!" This tom had been through the apprentice trainings but it was almost like he was still a kit in the way he acted. I guess that was the end of thier deep conversation.

It took a few moments but finally the black pelt of the lanky tom appeared again, pushign through the brush with a little of disappointment on his face, "Okay....Let's take the prey back." His maul was held in a pout as he dragged his robin mouth low.

Staying silent, Whitepaw instinctively got into a crouch at the scent of vole, keeping his tail still as he rushed through the tall grass towards the vole, snatching it in his jaws and throwing it at a tree nearby to kill it. Looking over towards his mentor and Venompaw, he went to pick up the vole, then padded back over to the group. His form certainly wasn't the formal way to hunt that most apprentices were taught, but it worked, using his speed instead of stealth to catch the prey.

"Good job, kid. Crouch is off, but it serves you well regardless, so I'll let you keep it."
Honeycreeper murred, hoping the joke would cheer the apprentice up. He peeled away momentarily to catch a sparrow that had landed, quickly prowling up to it and leaping upon it and killing it quickly.
He returned to them shortly after and put his own prey in some nearby shrubbery.

Thornscratch sighed and went to bury her catch. She padded over to the tom, walking beside him in silence. The molly then quickly whacked the tom's head before bounding off into the temporary territory after memorizing the place where her prey was.

Whitepaw smiled as he was given praise, watching Honeycreeper as they caught the Sparrow, noting the technique before following Honeycreeper over towards the shrubbery, but instead to a bush to the right, where he put the prey under the bush then shoved a bout of leaves on it.

fireflight beckoned sunpaw over. "'kay, uh, let's do some... hunting i guess. you know how to stalk a mouse, right?" she half smiled. hope that didn'y sound stupid.
