Hearing the call of his mate's voice, Glimmermask set off bounding into the nursery. Safe to say he was a little alarmed. Was she kitting? Had she gotten injured? But he relaxed upon seeing that the grey-and-white queen was stretched calmly out on the moss. She was beautiful as ever.... He was so glad they'd picked each other as mates.
"Hello, honey," they purred, coming to lay by her side. His eyes fluttered close briefly as he let himself relax a little after a long day. The meeting and the new prospect of war with the other Clans had successfully stirred up his anxiety, and more than anything he wanted to just settle down with his mate for a bit.

Leopard runs by yelling "COME BACK HERE GIRLS!" chasing her IRL cats through this sig

Fernwillow sighed quietly at the comforting feel that Glimmermask gave her. He was the only thing on her mind and she didn't want it any other way. "How was your day, dear?" she asked, smiling and blushing slightly.

Purring, he let himself sink a little into the thick-furred queen's fur, a small but contented smile making its way onto his muzzle.
"It's been.... okay, I suppose," he began hesitantly, not sure if he wanted to confess all his worries and troubles to her. He didn't want to overwhelm her with his anxieties, or burden her, especially not while they were just having a moment of quiet and peace after all that had happened in the Clan.
"Bumblestar assigned me an apprentice," he mewed, deciding to talk about something more uplifting. "Lil chap is... deaf, I think. So I'm hoping I can do everything I can to work with him efficiently." He flicked a large ear, thinking for a moment to himself.

Vixen sat in the nursery waiting for Orange who promised to come in this moon to talk. Her tail swayed as she waited, counting each time her tail went back and forth. 26, 27, 28..., he thought, his mind wandered the more he counted, not paying attention around him. 35, 36... She kept up the counting, her paws lightly tapping the floor as she counted as well, the noise helped sometimes.

Orangeblossom ducked into the nursery with a wag of his tail, excited to finally have some time free from his duties to come and check in with the kits and his siblings. His green eyes moved about the space before landing on one of the little rascals that he wanted to check in with. Vixenkit seemed to be waiting for something, perhaps him, watching her own tail flick against the ground. Seemed boring, "Hey Vixenkit! Sorry I took so long, I got held up with some boring adult stuff, you know how it is." Orangeblossom spoke cheerfully. He wondered what games they would play this time. The warrior waited for the little thing's reaction before bringing up any sort of game, besides maybe he didn't want to play a game just yet. Orangeblossom smiled and waited for the kit.

Alpinepaw walked into the Nursery for nostalgia. She sat next to the entrance and scanned the scenery. A strange feeling arose...The young cat thought, "What is this feeling?...I miss being here."
Wolfhive had slid into the den, in part to check in on things and in part to make sure the bedding was fresh. Immediately he noticed Alpinepaw. "Back so soon?" It was light, meant to be teasing. "I would've thought you'd wanna be out with your mentor training."
