Cotton lifted his head, smelling other cats. He padded into a clearing, finding a sleeping kit and a beautiful she-cat. "Is this kit yours?" he asked the she-cat.

Jewel was deep into her dream.
In her dream, she was running, faster than she had ever run before.
But then she smelled someone familiar.
"Mom?" she mewed.
A glowing light seemed to shine at the approaching cat.
Jewel peered in and saw the beautiful she-cat.
"Mom!"
She bounded forwards, but ran right through the cat and fell on the ground.
She got back up and turned around.
She watched as the cat faded away, like an old memory.
She continued to sleep.
Dreamless.

Stream tunred around a biy frightend. "No, I found her alone." she said looking at the small kit. "she was helpless...." The she-cat said drifting off into thought. She snapped herself back to reality.

Cotton frowned. "Poor kit." He wondered if she had any family. Even if she did, how would that help? And yet, he couldn't help noticing... "That was kind of you to help her. Some cats would've just ignored her...
