"Up and down the gorge," Wildkit whispered back. Spotting Clawstar slowing his pace, her markings glowed faintly and she created an optic illusion which hid Tigerdawn and made the winged kit look like her. She used her tail to signal the mesa for the hidden Tigerdawn.

Wildkit padded up to the edge of the gorge. At Clawstar's signal, she jumped. The optic illusion hid her wings as she opened them to catch the wind. She landed on all four paws, unscathed. "HA! Take that!" she yowled, disguising her voice to sound like Tigerdawn.
Clawstar chuckled. "Now you have to find your own way up! Plus, I was never going to let you stay a guard!"
Wildkit glared at him and stalked out of sight, heading towards the cave where she had told Tigerdawn to go to.

Wildkit got rid of the optic illusion and meowed, "Clawstar did this to get rid of you. He said he wouldn't have made you a guard again anyway." With that, she climbed the path up the gorge and vanished.
