A rather sunnny clearing

[A thread to be used for future general-ish StarClan interactions w Iciclepaw]

She had at least this time been expecting to wake up to somewhere pretty,,, well- not without doubt of course. But non-less, her she was. It was night still, but it wasn't fully black- no stars were visible yet... if they even appeared in StarClan of course. "Is- anyone here? ..."

Shimmertail was padding around Starclan, her paws landing softly on the ground when she walked. Her pelt shimmered and she looked around, scenting the air. Thunderclan hit her. And not the usual former Thunderclan now Starclan cat scent...she shook her head and padded over to the scent. She peeked at the cat. "Hello! I'm here! What are you doing here?" She meowed in a soft and joyful voice.

Huh- last time ,,, oh nevermind- Iciclepaw looked at the light grey tabby with her own curious green eyes. The cat seemed nice- plus,. it was StarClan! What dangers could there be anyways?! "Oh.. I'm Iciclepaw- the erm, new ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice... I came to the Starcave with the other cats,.. - for the meeting." Was that too much info? Probably-

What if Shimmertail thought bad of her?!? Danger was present in words-

Shimmertail smiled lightly at the apprentice. “Oh, yes, I remember you. Though I don’t pay much attention what’s happening around here much. Just like to take care of the kits that have died too young.” She meowed, a hint of sorrow entering her voice. She fully padded out and dipped her head to Iciclpaw. “I’m Shimmertail from Riverclan. I tend to spend my time taking care of kits.” She sat down and looked at Iciclepaw with a curious gaze. “So, I suppose you came here for a reason? I don’t think you came here just to see a random cat and talk to them. Unless, you have family here?” Of course Iciclepaw had family. “By the way, I’m sorry for Buckstar’s loss. You two seemed very close.”

Right. Well, this cat certainly seemed nice- kits dying young was never okay though,,, always a tragedy. Yet.. if the kits had died from something preventable.. or at birth- would Shimmertail blame the medicine cat? If they were from ThunderCaln- would she blame me ... what if I can't save a kit! .. .

Wait. RiverClan?!? The surprise soon faded though at the thought of Cricketpaw. The former medicine apprentice was also from RiverClan though. Iciclepaw was curious to as why she would think this was 'random' . Wasn't it her who called me here? (unknown to her knowledge, that wasn't the case) And then,, of course, it had to be brought up. It was sincerely nice of the she-cat to care for a random ThunderClanner still.

Shimmertail looked curiously at Iciclepaw. "Well, maybe we can figure it out together. Now, think about the problems in your clan and think which one would be the one that Starclan would want to help you with." She meowed, sitting down.
