Re: The New League Roleplay
Hera {} A 19 Year Old Employee. She Works In The Report Department {} Non-Gifted {} Location: The New League Building Lobby
Hera wasn’t one to normally but into conversations but…As Soon as They Recognized The Boy was Named ‘Cain’ and Looked Down At Label On The Bottle Of Tartar Sauce She Was Eating Spoonfuls From,They Just Had Too. Cain and Ralph (Her Own Nickname for Ice Hound) Had Been The Only Ones That Hera Had Actually Files On That She Kept Rereading. The Women took out One her Headphones, Hera Walked Over To The Younger Boy Holding The Flowers,Scanned Him Up and Down and Slowly Look at the Jars Label. “ Well That’s Quite The Timing. You Got Mind Powers Or Something?” The Women Teased Barely Above a Whisper,Of Course She Wouldn’t Actually Know If He Did But It Would Be A Fun Conversation. They Were All Still In The Lobby,Even She Had A Contract To Keep Hero’s Identities A Secret From The Public.
Hera just Stood There Until Ralph Burst Through The Door. The Boy Wasn’t In His Suit,A Fairly Uncommon Thing For Hero’s.So Uncommon to her that Hera Took a double Take. “ Woah There.” They Slowly took another bite from the now Quarter Empty Jar Of Sauce. “ Anyways,If Any Of You Drive A Car By Any Chance. I have A Parking Violation To Put in. I’m Hoping It’s None Of You Since It Wouldn’t End Well For Your Car. One Of Those People Took My Space.” Hera Grumbled Lightly To The Patrol.
The Women Gave A Smile To The Hero’s,Clicking The Button On The Elevator Once More. “ Slow Ass Machine” She Muttered Under Their Breath,She Was About To Just Take The Stairs At This Point But She Would Just Wait. The Women Put Her Headphone Back In And Turned The Volume Back Up And Ate Out Of The Condiment Jar. She Mumbled The Words To The Song Slightly Above A Whisper. Her Eyes Clearly Drifted Towards The Door Of The Stairs. Trying To Calculate How Long It Would Take Them To Get Up The Five Flights. They Truly Had Work To Get Done. The Woman Took Out Her Laptop And Sat Down Next To The Elevator Door And Began To Read The Parking Violation Form That she Slowly Started Filled Out With Details Of The Car

Re: The New League Roleplay
:: Flint - Minor Villain - Streets --> Shopping Centre - Open ::
The teenager strolled down the main-road, eyes darting from side to side occasionally but otherwise looking almost normal- or as normal as someone could be in this city nowadays. He blended in somewhat nicely with the throng of characters heading to work or school. Neither of these was his destination, however.
Today he felt like causing some chaos. An absolute mood. And either way, it was fun; much more than whatever they do at the New League, that's for sure.
Flint's footsteps brought him to Oakfield Shopping Centre. Inside a throng of customers for the many shops lining the walls would already be beginning to form. Shops being prepared for the day and some early rising staff even managing to get their shop open a few minutes earlier for the long line that awaited them outside. Lights flickering on, some older bulbs gone for good, nobody bothering to replace them. Staff trying to push through the customers to reach their destination. The large corridors still not large enough for the morning manic. The sound of shouting and annoyance and glee and excitement and a lack of morning coffee.

Re: The New League Roleplay
Jasmine Korey-Elden
Location: Shopping Center Jasmine had just gotten out of her car, as she had
realised she needed to purchase some more items for the nursery in her apartment. She already felt exhausted, even after sleeping for 8 hours and drinking the one coffee she could. With a small sigh, the woman grabbed her purse and headed inside. It was hard to window shop, feeling all of the stares digging into her back. She did her best to ignore it, but she felt more than uncomfortable. Oh well, that was her life. She had claw-clipped her hair up, and she put a hand on the back of her neck, feeling a bit frustrated that she couldn't find the one freaking thing she needed! With a slight grumble, Jasmine continued looking.

Re: The New League Roleplay
[ Vesper Waught: Phantasia | Civilian identity guarded to all | Bedroom > New League tower lobby. ]
In silence she sat on her bed, blankly staring out in front of her. It had only been a short while, a few weeks, since she moved into the patrol unit commons. All because of those bus times no longer lining up. She still went home over the weekends of course (after all she was but 15 years old), but she missed home sometimes. It was different here, much different. Not that she disliked it. But the young girl still hoped she'd be able to move back home again soon, despite realising that maybe this was safer for her aunt? She would need to worry about only her own safety then, and Vesper doubted her abilities would allow her to properly protect her aunty (or Olivia or Ms.Hemmington, as everyone else would call her). With absent mind Vesper turned over her phone that had been lying face down on a new book she started last night, Pride and Prejudice. A gift from her aunt to pass free time during her days spend away. Pushing the button on the phone's side, it blinked alive to display a heap of worried messages from the aforementioned woman. Vesper had since replied to guarantee her wellbeing, but she couldn't say that this wasn't a worrying element to see first thing in the morning, and right upon waking up too. But such is the life she chose.
The clock on her phone struck eight, marking the time for her to head down. Slipping the phone into her pocket, she made a point not to throw her costume's hood over her head for she had been taught that to be rude in inside places. Checking herself over a last time, sending a last message to her aunt, Vesper left her bedroom and took one of the several elevators down to the lobby. She wasn't certain whether that was a requirement, but she had taken a habit to doing so. At least then she could usually follow her patrol mates to where they need be, Vesper wouldn't lie when saying she still felt like she'd get lost sometimes. She had only joined the New League fairly recently after all. Well, she had been there less than a year at least (but would it not almost have been twelve months?). Either way, she sometimes still felt like a newbie walking around. Not to mention how surreal it felt. She never would've thought herself a patrol unit member someday, and yet here she was! (And stars above did her classification confuse her sometimes, but she had since decided not to think about it too much).
The pink-haired lady hadn't done much to really interact with her fellow patrol mates since joining. Of course, she didn't dislike them. Some of them were quite friendly, and occasional chatter may have taken place. But Vesper just hadn't had it within her to really try and actively get close to them either; usually she would have come in the morning and left for home as soon as she could. That had changed of course, now that she basically lived within the tower five days out of seven. She had made the resolution to be more sociable, the quiet never bothered her but she did enjoy company from time to time. She had come to realise that, but sometimes it made her feel a little squeamish. Maybe she was a tad timid? Well, it wasn't like she struggled to speak to people either. How peculiar.
A soft ding announced her arrival at the bottom floor, the lobby. Her posture proper and bangs tied up in a ponytail over he otherwise straight and detached hair, she stepped out silently as she looked about who had already arrived. She noticed a few members of the other patrol unit, most senior to her, and Rose Di Spine, one of her own unit members. Giving the girl a small, sweet smile as she walked past [ @Peril ], Vesper just about caught a little of what Hera said. She looked up and cocked her head to the side curiously, allowing herself to approach a few steps upon looking over the employee's shoulder [ @Ares ].
"Was it a reserved spot? With your name on it and such?" (the question's intend was with no malice of course, in fact Vesper quite liked Hera, she could be funny sometimes).
Vesper asked curiously, lifting her head to look up at Hera with her hands held behind her back. How impolite if someone took a reserved spot, she thought. But one couldn't really write up a complaint if the spot wasn't reserved. Did that not cost extra? Hm, she ought to ask someone sometime.

~~Moon Poppy~~
{OPEN}
Moon stood in the town, wearing her costume, looking around. Her eyes scanned her surroundings. Wonder if I'll ever get summoned... It had been a long time since she had been summoned to the base. She wished she had real friends, keeping her powers hidden was hard. "Bored..." Moon mumbled, kicking a rock and walked on.

Cain; Codename: Mindgrip; Civilian Attire
Cain just finished evacuating a building after a gas leak today, as well as an intense training session. When he got home, he wanted to lie down for a bit and then make dinner and tend to his plants. However, there was shopping to be done and he didn't like putting off his work. So instead he just went back outside after leaving his suit at home.
Crowded spaces like the shopping center could be extra loud, specifically for him, but he had gotten good at blocking out all the thoughts flying around. After all, he didn't want to pry. So instead, everyone's minds sounded like muffled underwater noises to him. That way he didn't invade their privacy.
Cain glanced around, then looked down at his long shopping list. Living alone was hard when you were 17 and a superhero.
