Fanclan that stemmed from a canon clan }:?

Alright, so, I read the rule that if you have a fanclan it can't interact with the canon clans (Riverclan, Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, Skyclan) but, what if the leader stemmed off from one of those clans? Obviously if they left to start their own clan they aren't going to be interacting with the canon ones, and they don't plan on interacting with them, and their new territory is going to be far away.
EX. A cat decides they don't like the warrior code as withheld within thunder/river/shadow/wind and decide to leave to seek out their own territory and to create their own clan. They are simply formerly from that clan, but otherwise have no relation.
Is this against the no interaction rule?

I believe it would be alright as long as the clan [thunderclan/windclan/skyclan/etc] is a duplicate clan of the main RP clans, or simply not a clan from the main RP. If it stems from the clans listed in the main roleplay and that clan is not a duplicate/alternate universe situation, then it isn't allowed.
