-Rainpaw continues her training, now not caring about her father.
-she becomes a warrior, Rainshatter
-Haildrop has kits with the other queen, Brightfoot
-Rainshatter makes friends with the only girl in the litter, Slatekit
-Slatekit dies in a fire, along with Brightfoot
-Rainshatter takes in the three tom kits
-haildrop attempts to kill one, Flashkit, when he gets greencough
-Rainshatter snaps, killing haildrop and hiding his body
-the three tom kits are apprenticed and Rainshatter keeps being a warrior, but has become hateful and mean, blocked off from everyone but the three toms she mothered.
