Darkpaw kept her warm smile, "Well, you can trust me!" She'd just met Russetpaw, but the dark furred apprentice knew many of her friends trusted her.. at least she hoped they did. A whisper fought her and she pushed it away, she didn't want to deal with them right now.

"I'm sure I can! You seem great" the molly purred. Russetpaw paused. She hadn't ever purred since she was with her family ... No. She was different now. She finally made a friend. She needed to let herself be happy. The apprentice's smile appeared again. "And you can trust me" the she-cat insisted.

The dark furred she-cat giggled in delight, "Great!" Her smile refused to fade, she loved smiling with a passion. Her eyes always radiated joy and trust when she smiled, which was just what she wanted. She wanted other cats to like her.

Darkpaw's smile wavered, "W-Well.. my brother is my mentor but.. I haven't had much training. He's been really busy.." Her brother was always a touchy subject for her. Because it was when the voices began. It also was when she felt weakest.

The molly's eyes filled with concern. "Sorry, but if you don't mind me asking. who's your brother?" Russetpaw asked. She didn;t ecpect Darkpaw to answer. She just wanted to know so she could ask the she-cat's sibling to actually train her. In the nicest way possible of course.

She paused and then rubbed her face against Darkpaw's in comfort. "If you feel the need to cry, then do it. You shouldn't hide your feeling. I have done it for far to long and never let myself be happy or purr" Russetpaw meowed gently.
