Midnight scuttled into the hole where the other fox had been. She backed as far as she could into the hole, barking aggressively. "DARE YOU ENTER THIS HOLE, I SCRATCH THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF YOU." She felt kind of bad for scaring the fox out of the hole. She couldn't do anything now... right?
Midnight poked her head out of hole quickly, peeking for the other fox which she didn't see. Midnight recoiled as soon as she could and snapped while in the corner of the hole. @leopardsnow

CeeCee frowned. Her attempted communication had failed, mostly.
She tried to mimic some fox noises, again, sounding like "mama fox, blah blah, calm down, blah blah want to help."
So the fox could understand a bit of her words, atleast.
CeeCee grabbbed a basket from the tree she had danced over and put the rest of the berries in it and ran after, continuing to call, "Mama fox, mama fox, i just want to help!"
She was innocent, just a young child trying to lend a helping hand.

"But I can take you somewhere safe where you can have your babies, and I can take care of you there," CeeCee told it. "My name's Cecelia, but everybody calls me CeeCee." Out of the corner of her eye, she could see a silver fox quietly standing, clearly wondering if it should help.
But CeeCee didn't pay much attention to it anyway.
"Its okay now."

"WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU GIBBERING ABOUT? LEAVE!" She yelped. Midnight dashed out of the whole, as she didn't want to be cornered. She scampered to the base of a tree, scrabbling up the trunk and swinging onto a branch.
But what about the other fox?
Midnight turned her head to look for the fox. "Em... you need help?" She called out, not knowing where the other fox was. Wait, the human was attacking her! Midnight slid down the trunk and dashed blindly to the human, beginning to bat at the human. @bubblegum. @leopardsnow

The female fox saw the human bend down beside the entrance under tree stump, and offer berries, speaking to her, which surprised the fox. This human could speak fox! She slowly sniffed teg berries in her hand, and slowly took them, and made a yelp. The pups were kicking...

CeeCee put some berries in her other hand, putting them infront of Midnight, speaking softly, "I'm going to help this mama fox, silver fox, and i can help you too. Just let me carry you."
CeeCee gently tried to pick up the mama fox, speaking softly, "I'm taking you to a safe place for you and your cubs," in her best fox imitation yet.
CeeCee smiled softly, but there were slowly bleeding scratches on her arm.
